Chapter 581 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âDylan!â The sudden turn of events left everyone stunned. Nobody expected Dylan to collapse and spurt blood when he was still laughing a second ago. âGet him to the hospital, quickly!â Hector made a prompt decision and ordered someone to carry Dylan out.
âHey, brat! Did you do this?â Jacob was about to leave when he thought of something and turned back, his expression menacing.
âWhat does it have to do with me? Itâs his old injuries that resurfaced. If youâre looking for someone to blame, you should blame Tyler since he attacked him earlier.â Dustin shrugged. âYou- Jacob was exasperated. However, he couldnât start a scene without evidence.
âJacob. You should go now. Itâs more important to save Dylan,â Hector reminded him. âLetâs go!â Jacob glared at Dustin and left angrily, not wanting to waste any more time. Trent and Kate followed behind them. As the Harmonsâ most talented genius, Dylanâs safety would affect their future. He was already considered equal in standing to Hector, the family patriarch.
âDear, what did you do to him?â Natasha got closer to Dustin and asked in a lowered voice. Something unusual clearly occurred for Dylan to suddenly collapse and spurt blood.
âWhat could I do? It was mainly because of Tyler,â Dustin said seriously.
âDo you really expect me to believe that?â Natasha rolled her eyes. âNobody can hear us, so youâd
better tell me the truth.â
âAlright, I just aggravated his injuries and made it worse.â Dustin smiled. Dylan had sustained internal injuries from Tylerâs attack earlier. And when Dustin patted Dylanâs shoulder, he channeled another bout of violent true energy into his body. His unstable condition flared up
instantly.
âWill he die?â Natasha asked cautiously. Even though she didnât get along with Dylan, he was still her uncleâs only son. As they were related by blood, she didnât wish for him to lose his life.
âDonât worry. He wonât die, but heâll be suffering for a while. Perhaps, he might even have complications from it,â Dustin said meaningfully. In essence, Dylan would grow weak and constantly struggle with illnesses.
âAs long as he doesnât die, it doesnât matter. Serves him right!â Natasha was indignant. She was still upset about the time he spiked the wine. Since he was terrorizing others again, naturally, he should be taught a lesson.
âWhat are you two whispering about?â Hector, who was standing not far away, suddenly interjected.
âNothing.â Natasha grinned and changed the subject. âDad, if it werenât for Dustin, we would have
been in big trouble!â
âNot bad. Seems like weâre indebted to you again.â Hector nodded, looking impressed. He believed Dustin despite the skepticism from others. And that was because of what George said before he left.
âNot at all, Mr. Harmon. I didnât do much,â Dustin responded politely.
âDad, are you not going to do anything as a show of appreciation?â Natasha was slightly upset.
âWhat do you suggest? How about I give him your hand in marriage?â Hector joked.
âHuh?â
