Chapter 599 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Dustin stepped through the door, his gaze terrifyingly cold. From the moment he saw Dahliaâs text, he knew something was wrong, so he rushed here as fast as he could âWâwhat are you doing here?!â Duncanâs eyes widened, and he staggered backward in fear.
âDidnât you call me to ask me to come over? Well, now Iâm here. What are you going to do?â Dustin began approaching him.
âSomeone, come quick!â Duncan screamed. However, strangely enough, no one outside responded. It was as though those men stationed outside had disappeared into thin air.
âWhere the fuck are you all? Hello?!â Duncan continued hollering But no matter how much he yelled, there was no response.
âI warned you before not to cross me again. Or else, youâll die a miserable death. What, did you think I was bullshitting you?â Dustin was getting closer and closer.
âRhys, youâre on my territory. Iâm warning you to not come any closer, or you wonât step out of this place ever again!â Duncan shouted, putting on a fierce front.
âTell me, how do you want to die?â Dustin asked coldly.
âTake another step, and Iâll blow your brains out!â At that moment, Duncan suddenly took a gun from the drawer and pointed it right at Dustinâs head. Now that Duncan had a weapon with him, he believed that he had the upper hand.
âReally? You can try.â Dustin continued to approach Duncan without a hint of fear.
âYouâre fucking asking for it!â Duncan pulled the trigger without a second thought.
âBang!â There was the sound of a shot being fired. Yet, Dustin was still standing in the same spot and did not move a single inch.
He was completely unharmed from head to toe.
âI missed?â Duncan frowned. He pulled the trigger two more times. Yet, it was the same as before. However, Dustin still looked unruffled and unhurt in the slightest.
âFuck, I refuse to believe that I canât kill you!â Duncan clenched his jaw and began to shoot madly until there were no more bullets left.
âBang, bang, bang!â After a series of gunshots, Dustin was still standing in the same spot. His body was uninjured; heck, even his clothes werenât damaged.
âIs this guy a ghost?â Duncan was so scared that cold sweat began to pour from his temples.
At this distance, there was no way Duncan would miss, even if he closed his eyes. Yet, heâd fired over a dozen bullets, but he didnât so much as leave a scratch on Dustin. It was absolutely insane.
âWere you trying to kill me with these things?â Dustin slowly opened his fist to reveal a handful of
1/2
misshapen bullets in his palm.
âHâhow did you do that?â Duncanâs expression turned into one of horror.
Could it be that his opponent had caught all the bullets that heâd shot earlier with his bare hand? Was he even fucking human?!
âDo you want to know? Iâll tell you once youâre dead With that, Dustin kicked Duncan in the
stomach
Duncan flew backward like a bullet leaving the barrel. He slammed into the wall harshly, leaving a spider crack on the wall. Blood spurted from his nose and mouth on impact.
â1-1 am a member of the Doyle family, one of the fabulous five! If you dare lay a hand on me, my family will never forgive you!â Duncan threatened, his face twisting into a ferocious snarl.
Dustin hummed before giving him another kick in the chest. There was the sound of bones cracking, and Duncan once again coughed up a mouthful of blood. His entire rib cage collapsed on
itself.
âDâdonât kill me! Iâm begging you not to kill me! I know I was wrong! Iâll never do it again! I swear, I wonât annoy you ever again!â Duncan begged in between fits of coughing up blood.
This time, he was truly afraid.
âAny last words?â Dustin slowly raised his foot. This time, he lifted it right over Duncanâs head.
âWait! Someone intentionally wanted to make you suffer today. It has nothing to do with me. Iâm just the runner!â
âWho was it?â Dustin asked coolly.
