Chapter 837 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âWe might want money. But we want your death more. Sir Rhys will forgive us if we take you down.â The rugged leader shook his head.
âRun, Sir! Weâll take care of them!â Felixâs loyal subordinates went forward and blocked the Charging Tiger Guild disciples.
âGood job, men! Stand strong!â Felix patted one of their shoulders. He grabbed his wife, turned around, and ran.
âKill them!â
The rugged man lifted his sword and charged toward Felixâs men. Although Felixâs subordinates tried their best, they were no match for the guild disciples and were quickly defeated.
âAfter him!â The rugged man chased after Felix.
âOuch!â Just then, Felixâs wife tripped and fell.
âHoney, I sprained my ankle! Carry me on your back!â she cried out.
âYouâre such a nuisance!â Felix was about to help her when he spotted the men approaching them. He retracted his hand and spun around to run.
âHoney? Honey!â The woman exclaimed, but Felix never turned around.
There was no way that womanâs life was more important than his. Besides, as long as he stayed alive, heâd have countless women afterward.
As Felix was about to escape, several black sedans pulled up before him and blocked his path.
The doors opened, and a pissedâoff Dustin slowly got out.
âSâsir Rhys?â Startled, Felix turned around. But the Charging Tiger Guild disciples were already blocking the other entrance. He had nowhere to run
Realizing his situation, Felix immediately fell to his knees and begged. âIâm sorry, Sir! Please donât kill me! I wonât ever do it again!â
He slammed his head into the ground.
âYou didnât even bother keeping Nelson alive.â Dustin slowly approached with a cold glare.
âIâit wasnât my fault, Sir! Someone threatened me, so I had no choice. Iâm innocent!â Felix kept banging his head against the ground until he bled.
âWho was it?â Dustin asked coldly.
âWâwill you let me live if I tell you?â Felix gulped and asked tentatively.
This seemed like his only chance to stay alive.
âYes.â Dustin nodded.
I promise I wonât kill you if you tell me who the mastermind is.â
âYouâve always kept your word, so Iâll believe you, Felix gritted his teeth and admitted. âThe one
âWhat the f*ck took you so long? Hurry up!â Felix was irritated.
âWhatâs the rush? I needed to make myself look good.â the woman protested.
âGosh, youâre so annoying. Get into the damn car!â Felix snapped.
Felix flung his cigarette to the floor, leading several men toward the garage. However, dozens of Charging Tiger Guild disciples stopped them when they arrived.
âWhere are you going at this hour, Sir Miller?â The leader of the bunch smirked.
âWhy should I tell you? Get out of my way!â Felix was annoyed.
However, none budged, their intense gazes glued to him.
âAre you guys defying me?â Felixâs face darkened when he realized that something was wrong.
âSir Rhys told us heâd forgive all our crimes if we take you down. He even promised us a hefty reward. Sorry.â The rugged leader took out his sword.
âHow dare you f*cking betray me?â Felix seethed angrily.
âOh, donât be like that. We learned it from you,â the other man pointed out.
âYou assholes! How could you betray Sir Felix when heâs treated you so well?â One of Felixâs loyal men shouted.
âHeâs treated us so well? Pfft!â The rugged man sneered.
âWe risk our lives for him and end up hospitalized all the time, yet we have to pay the hospital bills with our money. Our brothers who died donât even receive proper settlements. Is that how he treats us well?â
Theyâd been forced to swallow their dissatisfaction due to Felixâs power. But now that the man had lost all of his power, it was time for payback.
âYou guys just want money, donât you? How much is Dustin paying you guys? Iâll pay double!â Felix roared.
