Chapter 901 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Nikki couldnât bear to see anger in Dustin and the othersâ eyes and wanted to leave.
âThereâs no rush. The showâs just begun,â Edith sniggered.
âThis bastard insulted us and hurt Brittany. Thereâs no way I will let him off so easily.â
Dustin knew too many secrets, including the Jade Maiden Scripture. Edith was determined to keep the information inside the scripture to herself. No one else could have it.
So, she must kill Dustin.
âMadam Edith, you promised me you wouldnât hurt him.â Nikki suddenly felt uneasy.
Although she had betrayed Dustin, she didnât want to see him hurt either.
âReally? I donât remember promising that, though.â Edith feigned ignorance.
âNikki, if blood makes you queasy, you can leave first. I wonât blame you for that.â
âMadam Edith, you wanted the scripture and have it now. Please let him go!â Nikki begged, aware that Edith intended to kill Dustin.
âNikki, you should know that youâre a Jade Maiden Sisterhood disciple, so you should only be thinking of us.
âIâm happy with your achievements, so Iâll teach you some Jade Maiden sword techniques after Iâve learned them.
âFor now, youâll have to prove your loyalty in front of everyone.â Edith grinned slyly.
âHow?â Nikki was taken aback.
âKill that bastard for me!â Edith pointed at Dustin, looking furious.
âN-no, I canât!â Nikki took a few steps back in shock.
Dustin saved her life. She couldnât repay him like that.
âIf
you
kill him, Iâll make you my chief senior disciple. How about that?â Edith persuaded.
There was nothing she loved more than seeing lovers hurting each other.
âI donât want to be the chief senior disciple! I donât want to kill anyone!â Nikki frantically shook her head.
âAre you defying me?â Edith was pissed.
âPlease donât make me do that, Madam Edith! I just canât!â Nikki fell to her knees.
âTch! You useless piece of trash!â Edithâs face hardened.
âWhatâs so hard about killing a man?â
âI donât want my reward anymore, Madam Edith. I donât want anything! Just please donât force me to kill someone.â Nikki wailed pleadingly.
âShut up! I want you to kill him no matter what, or Iâll kick you out again!â Edith threatened.
âHurry up, Nikki. Donât disappoint Madam Edith again.â
âSheâs right. Men are nothing but hindrances. You shouldnât keep one!â
âKilling men isnât a big deal anyway.â
âDonât tell me youâll defy Madam Edith for a man?â
A few of the Sisterhood disciples began taunting Nikki.
To them, men were nothing but servants meant to serve them. Their lives meant nothing to these women.
âWhat are you waiting for? Pull out your sword!â Edith roared.
Startled, Nikki drew her sword shakily.
âGo and kill that bastard right now!â Edith yelled.
âIâm sorry⦠Iâm sorryâ¦â Gripping the sword with shaky hands, Nikki approached Dustin. hesitantly as tears streamed down her face.
She was like a puppet whose sole purpose was to fulfill Edithâs orders.
Dustin couldnât help feeling disappointed in her. He never expected her to listen to Edith and try to kill him.
It was clear that this was how Nikki planned to repay his kindness.
