Chapter 163
When Love Comes Late
Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead.
She carefully observed the surroundings once again.
There was a small distance between the balconies.
It was about a meter long.
Climbing over to the other room wouldnât be so difficult.
That was the only other option; she couldnât just sit in the room and do nothing.
Gritting her teeth, Stella came up with a plan.
âIâm going to get us out of here, just rest up.
Iâll be back,â she assured Matthew.
Turning around, she was about to leave when her wrist was grabbed, stopping her in her tracks.
She turned back.
Matthew flicked his eyes open and stared at her with an unreadable expression.
âWhat are you planning on doing?â
âI found a way we could leave.
â After answering, she removed herself from his grip.
She snatched off the bed sheet and tore it to pieces.
The crisp hissing sound echoed in the room.
Stella began to tie the cloth to her body.
Once done, she made a rope out of it.
After making sure everything was set, she walked off to the balcony again.

Figuring out what she was trying to do, Matthew ordered, âCome back here, Stella!â
Stella came to a stop.
âIâll be fine; donât worry,â she said in a serious tone, as she turned around to look at him.
Staring at her, he said again, âNo.
You donât need to do that.
â
âAs your employee, Iâm responsible for you.
The situation is only going to become worse if we delay any further.
â Stella could not dare to delay anymore.
âIâll find someone to open the door once Iâm out.
I promise.
â
Then, she turned around to leave the room.
Standing carefully against the wall, Stella tied the cloth to the balustrade of the balcony.
Although she was determined, her legs still shook as she climbed.
In an attempt to comfort herself, she patted her chest and said, âYou can do this.
There isnât any other way out.
Just go!â
