Stella was utterly stunned by the person she saw in the photograph.

The woman in the photo bore an uncanny resemblance to Alissa’s best friend.

Behind her stood a man at a distance.

Stella scrutinized his features carefully.

He bore a striking resemblance to Kristian, but upon closer inspection, Stella noticed subtle differences.

Suddenly, Stella’s heart sank.

Frowning involuntarily, Stella looked up at Bella and asked, “Where did you find this photo?”

Stella was confused.

If the woman in the photo was Alissa’s best friend and a stranger to Bella, how could Bella have gotten hold of this picture?

In a state of shock, Bella exclaimed, “I found the photo in Kristian’s wallet.

”

Stella, bewildered, couldn’t resist asking, “How could it end up in his wallet?”

She reminisced about the moment when Kristian and Alissa first interacted.

Alissa’s reaction was so striking that it left her wondering if Kristian and Alissa had known each other long before that day.

But soon, Stella’s suspicion faded.

She reasoned that if they were acquainted, Kristian wouldn’t have been so indifferent upon meeting Alissa.

Yet, why would Kristian own a picture of Alissa’s best friend if they were strangers before?

Alissa’s best friend appeared in a photo with a man resembling Kristian, discovered tucked away in Kristian’s wallet.

Stella was now convinced that their acquaintance spanned far back in time.

Why did Kristian choose to deceive?

Stella’s thoughts were in disarray.

Bella puzzled over the situation, murmuring, “Kristian never mentioned knowing Alissa or her friends.

”

Clearly, Kristian was keeping something from them.

Stella glanced at Bella and suddenly a light bulb went off in her mind.

What if Bella was the woman, Alissa’s close friend, who had gone missing after a car accident?

Stella’s eyes widened in shock.

If her suspicion was correct, what role did Kristian play in the situation?

A sudden chill ran through Stella’s hands and feet.

Bella racked her brain but couldn’t find the reason.

She turned to Stella and suggested, “Maybe we should ask Kristian; he might know something.

Or we could ask Alissa if she knows him.
