Chapter 200
When Love Comes Late
Amara liked how sensible Vivien was, so she said, âActually, Matthew decided to treat me to dinner tonight.
I want you to be there.
Thatâs why I called.
â
Vivien was taken aback for a while.
But then, she complained, âMatthew has been so closed off to me lately.
I heard rumors that heâs getting too close to his subordinate.
â
âThat happens all the time.
As a businessman, itâs only normal for him to be close to his employees.
No big deal.
â Amara didnât catch Vivienâs drift.
âOnce Matthewâs divorce is finalized, Iâll try my best to bring the two of you together.
Iâm going to make you my daughter-in-law at all costs.
â
Vivien was rest assured after hearing those words.
After all, who else could change Matthewâs mind other than his mother?
She said in a brisk voice, âThanks for being so nice to me.
You are the best.
â
Amara smiled in silence.
Vivien suggested, âMatthew hasnât arrived yet.
Since we havenât gone shopping together in a while, how about we do a quick one to while away time?â
âSounds good.
â
Stella and Juliette went to many bridal shops, but Stella wasnât satisfied with the dresses there.
Each dress looked good on Juliette.
However, none of them was what Stella was going for.
They seemed too ordinary to be a wedding dress.
âI have to use the ladiesâ room.
You can continue shopping alone.
If you see any dress that might suit me, just pick them out and Iâll try them on later, okay?â Juliette advised.
Stella nodded in agreement.
That suggestion would save them some time.
She continued to stroll between shops after watching Juliette leave for the bathroom.

There was a red off-the-shoulder dress displayed in the window next to her.
The hemline of the dress was adorned with smooth Lines and patterns with gold threads.
To say the least, it looked so elegant and noble on the mannequin.
It caught Stellaâs attention immediately.
She raised her head slightly and took a look at the shop nameâDivine.
After texting Juliette the name of the shop, she walked in.
She pointed at the red dress and asked the shop assistant, âExcuse me, do you have that dress in medium size? Asking for a friend.
She will be here anytime soon.
â
âIâm sorry, miss.
That wonât be possible.
This dress is a limited edition.
There is only one of each size.
Only a few minutes ago, someone came in and took the medium size.
Sheâs currently trying it on.
â
Stella was a little disappointed.
Just as she was about to say something else, the door of the fitting room swung open.
Vivien walked out in a full dress.
