If it weren’t for Stella, she wouldn’t have to be so guarded within the Clark family.

Now with Lucia and Waldo on Stella’s side, there was no chance Matthew would favor her.

She had seen the announcement from Prosperity Group and thought Matthew was in denial, which was why she called Lindsay to verify.

Stella was indeed still alive!

Joann was shaking with anger.

Lindsay had no patience for her ranting.

“She’s okay.

I have other things to handle now…”

She tried to end the call, but Joann cut her off.

“There was an accident on the hillside road today.

A line of Clark family cars was there.

I heard a car went over the cliff with Stella’s parents inside.

Hearing this, Lindsay’s interest was piqued.

She glanced around and hurried back to her room.

Then she asked quietly, “Explain it clearly.

Joann replied, “I got all this from my brother, and it’s not very clear.

But I also heard that Stella’s father was taken by the police while in a wheelchair.

”

Lindsay clicked her tongue.

“It looks like Matthew doesn’t love Stella as much as he claims.

”

Considering Matthew’s attitude, she thought it seemed too calm.

If something this big had really happened, he should have reacted more strongly.

Joann continued, “If Stella’s father is in trouble and Matthew doesn’t help, I bet Stella will confront him.

They might even divorce over this.

You should grab this chance.

”
