She donned a mask, turned around, and marched directly toward Elizabeth.

Upon seeing Elizabeth’s face up close, Lindsay was certain.

With a gleam in her eye, she asked, “Are you looking for Stella?”

Elizabeth’s head jerked up at the mention of Stella’s name.

Elizabeth was rattled by Kristian’s actions but remained composed enough to realize she didn’t know the woman in front of her, so she stayed silent.

Lindsay, undeterred, pressed on.

“If you need assistance, I can help you locate Stella.

”

Elizabeth’s eyes widened.

Clenching her teeth, she finally spoke.

“I need to find Stella.

When I do, she’ll pay with her life!”

Lindsay was satisfied with Elizabeth’s reaction.

She dialed Felix’s number.

The phone rang barely a moment before Felix answered, his voice tinged with surprise.

“Lindsay? What’s the occasion for your call today? Mis

sing me already?”

Lindsay, slightly irritated, cut to the chase.

“Felix, I need a favor.

Felix’s excitement was palpable as he quickly responded, “Just say the word, no formalities are needed.

”

Lindsay didn’t beat around the bush and said, “Can you find out where Stella is for me?”

True to form, Felix didn’t question her reasons.

He cheerfully replied, “No problem at all.

”

Then, trying to shift the conversation, he suggested, “Hey, are you done with work? How about we grab dinner later?”

Lindsay had no patience for Felix’s presumptuous, clingy behavior.

She dismissed him outright, saying, “I’m sorry, Felix.

I might not have the time.

”

Felix, not easily deterred, played another card, saying, “If you don’t agree, I might not feel up to doing that favor.

”

Lindsay grimaced at his manipulative tone but reluctantly said, “Alright, if you do this for me, we can have dinner.

”

“Awesome!” Felix’s voice was filled with joy.

Lindsay, having had enough of the conversation, hung up.

Moments later, Felix texted her Stella’s location along with details for their dinner.

Lindsay glanced at the address he sent and smirked.

She quickly walked up to Elizabeth and showed her the phone, saying, “Looks like Stella’s at Seamarsh Hospital, keeping your mom company.

They seem quite close.

It seems like your mom forgot she has a daughter like you.

”

Her words only intensified Elizabeth’s resentment toward Stella.
