Bennett hurried over, looked her over, and smiled broadly.

I heard some disturbing rumors and feared the worst.

Stella sensed an underlying concern in his greeting and instinctively stepped back.

She smiled politely, interpreting Bennett’s approach as another attempt at courting her.

Just as she was about to reply, a harsh, angry voice interrupted, “Stella, you whore! You deserve to suffer!”

Stella turned toward the sound.

At the hospital entrance, a disheveled woman was charging toward her, clutching a bottle.

As the woman tilted the bottle, liquid splashed onto the ground, fizzing up bubbles.

Stella realized, in horror, that it was sulfuric acid.

The attacker was Elizabeth.

Stella was stunned into silence.

On Elizabeth’s face was a look of intense hatred mixed with a sinister smile.

With a fierce motion, she hurled the acid directly at Stella.

“Go to hell, bitch!”

Elizabeth’s reasoning was straightforward.

Her prospects looked grim.

“Be careful!”

He threw himself in front of Stella and dragged her aside, managing to shield her from the brunt of the attack, but he suffered a splash of acid on his back.

The sulfuric acid made a corrosive sound.

She looked at Bennett and saw his face turned pale with pain.

At this time, Matthew and Fernando came over.

The bodyguards immediately stepped forward and subdued Elizabeth.
