Seeing that she finally agreed to give him a chance, Felix was obviously happy.

Felix, however, dismissed the concern with a wave of his hand.

“What exactly is the matter? Can’t you tell me?” Lindsay asked, her curiosity piqued.

Joann seems to have been bewitched by Bennett; she asked me to dig up some information about someone who’s passed away.
