He added, “Every time I visited my mentor, you were always so welcoming.

Even if you don’t recall those moments, it doesn’t diminish my desire to repay that kindness.”

Seeing that he had mentioned Stella’s father, Bella found it difficult to refuse and reluctantly agreed.

Stella had no choice but to agree as well.

Before they left, Bella and Stella expressed their gratitude to Cordell once more.

Cordell watched Sanford closely during their interaction, sensing that there was more to this man than met the eye.

As Sanford gracefully opened the car door for Stella, Cordell swiftly pulled out his phone, captured a photo, and sent it to Matthew with a note that said, “Looks like your wife might be running off with someone else.”

Meanwhile, at Prosperity Group, Matthew caught sight of the message, and his face instantly fell into a severe, icy expression.

While Fernando was in the middle of delivering his report, an unexpected chill crept over him.

Looking up timidly, he saw Matthew’s furious glare and swallowed hard, his next words coming out with extra caution.

Once Fernando wrapped up, Matthew continued to fixate on his phone with a stern look.

Seeing no orders forthcoming, Fernando eventually broke the silence.

“Mr.

Clark, do you need anything else?”

“Get out,” Matthew responded curtly.

Just as Fernando sighed in relief and turned to leave, Matthew’s voice halted him.

“Wait, arrange a car.”

Caught off guard and feeling a mix of resignation and urgency, Fernando reminded him, “Mr.

Clark, you have a meeting in thirty minutes.”

Matthew shot back immediately, “Cancel it.”

“Understood.”

Fernando nodded and hurried to follow through.

Matthew checked his phone once more.

In addition to Cordell’s message, there was one from Bella as well.

“Stella and I are grabbing lunch.

Join us if you’re free.”

After a quick response to Bella, Matthew and Fernando headed out.
