Chapter 2358
When Love Comes Late
Just as she stepped out of the studio, Stella spotted Matthew getting out of his car.
A wave of panic rushed through Stella, making her heart race.
The moment Matthew closed his car door, his eyes landed on Sanford standing beside Stella.
His face instantly darkened, anger flashing in his gaze.
Sanford looked at Stella and whispered, Did you plan to meet Matthew? He seems really upset.
Do you think he misunderstood something? Should I talk to him and clear things up, so you two dont end up arguing again? Matthew watched as Sanford and Stella leaned in, whispering to each other.
The images he had seen online flooded his mind, igniting a storm of anger within him. Without a word, he stormed forward and landed a punch square on Sanfords face.
Caught off guard, Sanford staggered back, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
His own temper flared, and without hesitation, he swung back at Matthew.
The confrontation erupted so quickly that Stella stood frozen in shock.
It was the first time she had ever seen Matthew resort to violence, leaving her stunned for several seconds before she could process what was happening.
By the time she regained her composure, Matthew and Sanford were already locked in a fierce fight, exchanging punches with no signs of stopping.
Anxious and desperate to intervene, Stella searched for an opening but found none.
The brawl was too intense, and her mind raced with worry.
Adding to her distress, Matthew still hadnt fully recovered from his previous head injury.
What if this fight made it worse? Stop it! Both of you! Stella shouted desperately, her voice trembling with frustration.
But the two men, entirely consumed by their anger, paid her no attention.
Finally, in a fleeting moment of separation, Stella seized the opportunity.
She rushed between them, placing herself firmly in the middle.
Both Matthew and Sanford, fists raised for another blow, froze when they saw her. Fury burned on Stellas face as her cheeks flushed red.
She glared at both men and demanded, Have you lost your minds? Fighting on the street-do you think youre untouchable? Matthews fiery gaze remained locked on Sanford, his hostility unrelenting.
Sanford, equally defiant, met his glare with cold resolve, neither man showing any sign of backing down.
Turning to Sanford, Stella said firmly, You should leave first.
After all, it was Matthew who had started the fight, and she couldnt justify placing the blame on Sanford.
Matthew, however, bristled at her words.
His expression darkened as he shouted, No one is leaving until we settle this! Sanford sneered, his tone dripping with disdain as he retorted, What exactly do you want to say, Matthew? Caught between the two men, Stella felt her patience wearing thin.
