Chapter 340
When Love Comes Late
Besty watched the scene in front of her in awe.
She lightly pulled Stella aside.
âDid your husband really send them? They seem Like trouble.
â
Stella quickly confirmed from Maverick whether he had sent them.
She relaxed once she had confirmed it.
She smiled at Besty.
âItâs fine.
My husband sent them.
Weâll catch up some more another time.
â
Besty eased up and escorted Stella to the car.
Zola followed suit curiously, but one of the bodyguards stepped in front of her, hindering her from going any further.
âYou canât go any further, or else weâd have to use restraining methods,â the bodyguard said coldly as he looked down at her.
Zola remained rooted in her spot in fear.
The cars all drove away one after the other, leaving nothing but a faint trail of smoke behind.
Zola came back to her senses and turned to Colden.
âAre you sure you donât know her husband?â
Colden was also amazed by the scene he just witnessed.
He shook his head as if he was in a trance.
âNo.
But the license plates are only available to the important people in Seamarsh.
â
The thought that the cars were rented immediately dispersed from Zolaâs mind.
She immediately grew resentful.
Noticing her jealousy, Besty began to piss her off even more.
âStella is so down to earth! Her husband is so rich, yet she wasnât acting all stuck up and rude.
I guess I get why she didnât tell me about her marriage.
She didnât want people to get all jealous.

Zolaâs face darkened.
She grabbed her bag and walked off, her hatred growing even deeper.
When they arrived at Prosper Bay, Matthew was already standing outside the door.
The driver parked the car as the bodyguard got out.
âMrs.
Clark fell asleep.
Should we wake her?â
âJust wait outside here.
â
Matthew walked to the car.
There she was.
Sleeping soundly, she looked so peaceful.
