Chapter 355
When Love Comes Late
However, her amusement was short-lived as her phone rang again.
Clint had sent two electronic entry tickets for the design exhibition.
It came along with a reminder in the message that said, âYou must take Maverick with you.
â
Stella didnât reply.
She casually browsed the exhibitionâs offerings, which consisted of works by renowned design masters.
Stella felt a twinge of temptation but lost interest when she remembered that she had to attend with Maverick.
Frowning, Stella thought for a few moments before hatching a plan.

Stella finished checking everything out an hour early, so she decided to walk around a bit.
While on the road, she noticed how pretty the scenery was.
The air was so clean.
She had gotten so used to the scenery in the city.
It had been a while since she actually enjoyed watching the beauty of nature.
She just couldnât bring herself to leave.
She walked around with no destination.
She stopped walking when she saw a woman struggling to carry various shopping bags up a slope in front of her.
Stella quickly approached her.
âLet me help.

Amara? Matthewâs mother!
She didnât expect to find her here.
Amara looked at Stella, a shocked expression on her face.
âOh, you again.
I know you! The last time we met, I fainted in the mall.
I was told that you saved me! Iâve been wanting to thank you, but I didnât know how to reach you.
Iâm glad Iâm finally able to meet you again.
â Amara smiled warmly at Stella.
âYouâre welcome, maâam.
Iâm sure if I wasnât there, someone else would also have saved you.
â Stella was flustered.
