Her words were cut off by the growling sound her stomach made.
She smiled awkwardly.

Matthew watched her as she opened the lunch box.

It was one of her favorites, and she was starving.

She was glad they were still hot.
It seemed they were just bought not too long ago.
Taking a bite from the chicken, she couldnât help but squint her eyes as the sweet juice of the meat exploded in her mouth.
Matthew couldnât restrain himself from smiling.

âWhy arenât you eating?â she asked as she withdrew her hand shyly.

He didnât know what was wrong with him but the sound of her soft voice mixed with the sound of the rain was doing something to him.
His heart raced in his chest.
What was this uncontrollable feeling?

Averting his gaze from her face, he finally answered, âIâve had my share already.
I need to go deal with something.
Just enjoy the food.
