Chapter 434
When Love Comes Late
âItâs coming up this Saturday,â Neville replied promptly.
âSaturday?â Stellaâs face lit up with surprise.
âWhat a coincidence!â
âOh? What coincidence?â Neville asked, pretending to be interested.
Stella looked down shyly.
âMy husbandâs birthday is also on Saturday.
â
âWould you look at that? What a coincidence!â Neville chimed in, giving Matthew a playful look.
Matthew coughed awkwardly.
Stella regained her composure and realized her slip.
She put away her tablet and said, âThen Iâll modify the plan and confirm with you later.
â
âOkay,â Neville replied in a cheerful tone.
After Stella left, Matthew expressed his dissatisfaction with Nevilleâs arrangement, asking, âWhy didnât you tell me in advance that Stella would be here? I was unprepared and the situation was embarrassing.
â
Neville chuckled and responded, âI thought you could use more interaction with Stella, and she promised to attend your birthday.
Arenât you happy?â
Matthew gave him a cold glance, then stood up and exited the room.

Neville followed him to the car right after.
He fastened his seatbelt and offered, âI donât have any plans today.
I can accompany you.
â
âShut up! Be quiet!â Matthew warned playfully as he started the car.
During the drive, Neville sensed Matthewâs irritation and wisely chose to remain silent, engrossing himself with his mobile phone.
When the car finally arrived at a villa on the outskirts of Seamarsh, Neville couldnât resist asking, âWhat are you doing here?
Neville was bewildered.
Matthew hadnât been to this small villa for many years.
Why did he suddenly come here today?
Matthew didnât respond but got out of the car.
Neville wanted to find out the reason, so he immediately got out of the car and followed him.
Matthew headed straight for the villaâs gate, where a parcel box sat beside the mailbox.
âWho sent you this package?â Neville inquired with curiosity.
