Farris is a man of integrity.
He wouldnât engage in such actions against me.
You were the only one with the means to set this up.

What of it?â she confessed, unapologetic.

âMina, do you realize youâve broken the law?â
Minaâs sneer was unrepentant.
âSo what? You wretched woman, Iâve despised you for so long.
If you hadnât come into the picture, Farris would have married me.
