arm brushed against Jonah's side. "Hey, shouldn't you be worried for your brother-in-law? Maybe

invest in a better life insurance policy for Mr. Beckett on their wedding day. Take good care of him."

"Are you bored, Dr. Lovelace? Why are you caring about something that is none of your business?"

Jonah sarcastically mocked. Closing the space between his body and Julien, he stood still.

"Alyssa, you're just venting your anger recklessly."

David ground his bloody teeth, struggling to speak clearly. "You have no proof ... You can't do

anything ... But you and Jasper had beaten me up good. I will make sure you spend the rest of your

life in jail! Your name will be tarnished!"

Alyssa was sassy and arrogant. She curled her red lips into a cold smile as she cracked her knuckles,
