Chapter 105
Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father
Susan gaped and let out a quick sigh. Something seemed to be stuck in her throat. âYoung Master Harper⦠is your Daddy?â
Louis nodded slowly.
With shaking eyes, Susan looked forward again. There, Frank Harper stood still, while Kara looked down with one hand raised and clutching her head.
âOh, I understand now.â Susan started nodding. Tears appeared in her eyes. âNo wonder he was kind to us. Turns out he just wanted to make amends.â
After a faint snort, Susan grasped the hands of her two grandchildren. âEmily, Louis, letâs get out of here.â
âMomâ¦.â Kara was about to stop them. However, she didnât know what to explain.
With drooping shoulders, Kara was forced to watch her loved ones going down the stairs. Then, with an exasperated sigh, she looked at Frank as if asking for advice.
Unfortunately, Frank was also helpless. He was weak in facing the twinâs sadness and his feelings of guilt.
Amidst the chaos, there was only one person who looked excited. After brushing aside the guardsâ hands, she muttered, âI warned you, Hubby. Storing trash in your house will only bring trouble.â
Then, with a triumphant smile, she walked past everyone, leaving
Frank and Kara still confused.

âMorning, my future granddaughter-in-law. Have you had breakfast?â Rowan made small talk. He knew the meaning of that bright
expression on her face.
âYes, I stopped at the cafe after coming from your grandsonâs house,â
Isabela answered with a smile.
âHave you carried out your duties?â
With a chuckle, Isabela nodded. âThat cheap woman is really shameless. Iâve warned her repeatedly, but she still doesnât listen. She really deserves to be taught a lesson.â
After wiping his mouth with a napkin, the old man let out a long sigh. Thatâs why you canât let your guard down. Put your work aside for now. Even though Frank said he would marry you, you canât let them get close.â
Isabela shrugged her shoulders. âDonât worry, Grandpa. I gave them quite a big problem this morning. It wonât be easy to deal with. I will never let them in peace.â
âHow are they now?â Rowan raised an eyebrow.
The corners of Isabelaâs lips lifted again. âI berated that woman, embarrassed her in front of the servants and guards. If she still ha any dignity, she couldnât possibly stay by Frankâs side.â
âAre you sure thatâs enough?â
Isabela folded her arms across her chest. âThat must be more than enough, Grandpa. Moreover, those kids hate Frank now. If that woman loved her kids, sheâd be out of the way.â
Instead of smiling, Rowan furrowed his eyebrows. âYou made them

curve of Isabelâs lips grew wider. âYes, I forced Frank to admit that they were the children he abandoned. And apparently, they heard.â
Rowanâs expression dimmed. However, Isabel didnât pay attention to him. Her tone became even lighter. âI remember very well, the little girl called Frank a bad person. Iâm sure she would never forgive her own father. So, like it or not, that lowly woman had to take her children.
away.â
Suddenly, Rowan hit the table. The sound made Isabela flinch. âHow dare you disobey my orders? I only asked you to make them irritated, but instead, you offended those children?â
Isabela swallowed hard. Cold sweat began to gather on her fine pores. âWhatâs wrong with it, Grandpa? Isnât our goal to keep them away from Frank?â
âI only told you to keep that woman away from my grandson, not those genius children.â
Isabel blinked incomprehensibly. âWhat do you mean, Grandpa? You need those children?â
âYes. They will be the ones who will continue Savior.â
A sigh escaped Isabelaâs mouth quickly. Subconsciously, she started to stutter. âBut, Iâm going to marry Frank. Do you expect me to be thei mother? And if they inherit the company, what about my child?â
Rowan snorted. âIf your child can surpass the abilities of them, he can take over the company. But if not, donât expect it!â
Isabel secretly clenched her fists under the table. However, realizing her weak position, she could not say anything.
âNow, fix your mistake. Bring the children back to Frankâs side. Separate them from their mother.â

Carrying her bag, she got up from the chair. âNow I have to go. Please continue with your breakfast, Grandpa.â
After smiling goodbye, she walked towards the door.
âYou selfish old man! When I have become Frankâs wife, Iâll kick both of you out of the house. And those children, Iâll make sure they suffer.â

âEmily, are you still sad?â Louis asked the little girl sitting near the shelf.
Since this morning, Emily hadnât made much sound. All she did was just blinking and breathing. Her hand didnât leave Yemon even for a second.
âArenât you sad?â she replied softly. Her cheeks looked thinner without
a smile.
After sighing faintly, Louis sat down next to her. âI donât know.

Folding his legs, he muttered, âIn my opinion, we are too young understand. I donât know what happened that night. I donât understand how he could be our Daddy. And I donât know what al illegitimate child means. You know what an illegitimate child is?â
Getting no response, Louis glanced over. âIt looks like you donât kn either. This problem is too confusing for children our age.â
Emily furrowed her eyebrows as she digested Louisâ words. After moment of silence, she finally looked down and sighed. âI also donâ understand, Louis. But what is clear is that I am very disappointed in

âBut donât you like him? I thought you would be happy because your Mister Kind is our Daddy,â Louis said with round eyes.
However, Emily remained unenthusiastic. âDid you hear what
Grandma said earlier? He must be pretending to be good because he feels guilty for leaving us.â
Seeing Emilyâs eyes fill with tears again, Louis held back his voice for a moment. Then, he asked softly. âSo you donât like him anymore?â
Emily put Yemon to her chin and hugged it tightly. âI donât know. But
every
time I think about it, I feel like crying.â
Not wanting his little sister to be sad, Louis rubbed her shoulder. Letâs not think about it anymore. Now, do you want to read a fairy tale? Thereâs a new book there. Or do you want to call Mommy? Itâs already break time.â
Still with pursed lips, Emily shook her head. She wasnât in the mood to read, and she knew her mother was with Frank. If she heard their voices, her tears would no longer be able to be contained.
