“Did Grandma ever come up with such a clever strategy?” Louis asked, whispering..

Diana blinked her eyes. “That is a secret.”

Suddenly, Emily laughed. Her eyes sparkled with admiration. “When I’ve grown up, I want to be as cool as Grandma Diana. I will be an expert at strategizing and defeating all opponents.”

“Then, study properly. So later, you can develop strategies more easily.

While Louis and Emily gave a small nod, Jeremy entered the dining room. “Good morning, Harper Family.”

Everyone looked over. In an instant, the twins’ eyes widened. “Uncle Jeremy!” Their necks were elongated, their voices were shrill.

“Why did you come so early? Do you want to join us for breakfast?” Emily tilted her head and scratched her cheek.

“No. I’ve finished breakfast. I came because I had something to discuss with your father.”

When Frank caught Jeremy’s gaze, the curve of his lips twitched. His brows furrowed to guess whether something had happened last night.

“What do you want to talk about?” Frank motioned for Jeremy to sit in the empty chair near Diana, facing Abigail.

With a leisurely pace, Jeremy received the signal. He sat up and took a quick breath. “Ava didn’t get to see her mother last night.”

“Why?” Louis tilted his head forward. Philip leaned against the chair,

“Louis,” Kara called softly, “this is an adult business. It’s not time for you to get involved.”

“Remember, Louis,” Emily added, “we promised not to interfere with adults. We’re still kids.” She emphasized the last word.

Louis put on a pitiful look. “Sorry, but I’m curious. Why didn’t Ava meet her mother? She must be sad and disappointed.”

Everyone looked back at Jeremy.

“There were three cars following us. I didn’t dare take any risks. Even though Wela said the hospital security was tight, the Moore family could have sent someone who could break through.”

“Isn’t Sean looking after Ava’s mother?” Louis tilted his head. Noticing Kara’s glance, he quickly put his lips in and covered her mouth with

both hands.

“Sorry, Mommy. I slipped.”

“Ben Wilson?” Frank raised an eyebrow.

“Yes, I took Ava into the bar. We met him. He then helped us disguise ourselves and escape. In return, I said I would persuade the twins to

“Yes! I don’t mind either. I’m ready to help Ben increase his perfume sales. People will definitely be enchanted by our cool appearance.

Everyone laughed, amazed at Louis’ confidence.

“Can you really pose?” Barbara was amused.

“I can.”

Louis ended his pose. “Haven’t you heard that a model has to be arrogant? You have to feel that you’re the coolest when you pose. That way, the photos will be good.”

Smiling, Kara stroked Emily’s head. “What about you, Princess? Do you have a signature pose like Louis?”

Emily shook her head. “I always look beautiful, Mommy. No matter how I pose, I will look cool.”

Diana laughed when she heard that. “Jeez, Frank. What do you give your kids to have that much self-confidence?”

Frank looked at Kara. After getting a nod, he said, “Yes, that’s fine. The twins are just advertising models, right?”

“What are you going to buy, Buddy? You seem to be expecting a high price.” Frank narrowed his eyes.

“I want to donate a lot, beating the amount the Moore family donated. That way people will know that we are better.”

“Why do you think that, Little Angel?” Kara shook her head faintly.

“It must be because of the news that Louis read yesterday,” Emily said.

“I am happy if you want to donate, Little Bee,” Kara said softly. “But, you have to remember. Donating means helping other people, not to show off or be considered good. When you donate, do it with a sincere heart and straight intentions.”

“Your mother is right. Donating is a charity activity, not a competition. What’s important is the welfare and happiness of the recipients of the donation, not praise from other parties. Do you understand, Buddy?”

Louis looked down slightly. His cheeks puffed up a little. “I got it, Daddy. If I want to donate, I won’t tell anyone else.”

“Did you guys know?” Philip suddenly snapped to attention. “The biggest benefactor in our country is not the Moore family, but father. The Savior humanitarian mission can run smoothly beca of your father’s donation.”

Louis and Emily were stunned. Their eyes sparkled with admiration

“Really? Why did we never know? The news isn’t on the internet either.”

“That’s because Daddy kept it a secret,” Kara said with a small smile.

Louis’ eyes suddenly narrowed. “That means the Moore family is donating for a good name. If they were sincere, they wouldn’t tell anyone.”

Everyone fell silent, agreeing with the conclusion Louis had drawn.
