Chapter 340
Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father
S31 83. Timeâs Up
âThen wait in the corner over there. Donât approach the door until I call you,â Turner stated.
âAll right! Thanks, Turner.â Emily walked while moving her hips.
âWoohoo! Weâre going to eat deliciously,â Louis exclaimed, jumping up and down in the direction Turner was pointing.
Shaking his head in disbelief, Turner opened the door. With a tired look, he brought the trolleys in one by one.
âWow, that one is so pretty,â Emily sighed as she stood on her tiptoes.
âThat one looks delicious. That one too. Turner, have you eaten yet?â Louis said, adding to Turnerâs annoyance.
âDonât cause trouble. Just eat!â
The twins walked with teasing expressions. âHow about you eat with us? You havenât eaten in a while. You must be hungry.â
âYes, thereâs a lot of food here. You can choose one plate, but not this one.â Emily took her selection to the table.
âAnd this one, my favorite.â Louis took another plate. âYour friends. who are on guard outside can also take food if they want.â
Turner was stunned. Confusion froze his mind. What kind of children was he taking care of?
âDonât try to influence me! Just eat. Donât ask around.â
âOkay, donât regret it when the food runs out. We were kind enough to invite you, but you refused.â Louis climbed onto the chair. Meanwhile, Emily was going to the bathroom door.

âLouis, wash your hands first.â
Louisâ eyebrows arched upward. âOh right. I almost forgot.â
He followed Emily. âDonât steal our food, Turner!â he exclaimed before the sound of splashing water echoed.
A bland laugh escaped Turnerâs mouth. His hand subconsciously clutched his stomach. âHow could they be so skilled at intimidating others? They canât be four years old. They are small old men.â
Steeling himself, Turner exited the suite. However, the twinsâ invitation to eat together kept ringing in his mind.
âThose childrenâ¦. They are actually sweet children. Itâs really unfortunate that they have to face Victor Moore. Can they survive until the end?â
Half an hour passed, Turner was still contemplating. When the sound of footsteps was heard, he straightened his back and widened his eyes. âMr. and Mrs. Moore?â
âHow are the children?â
Turner swallowed hard. However, before he had time to answer, Patricia moved her fingers twice. Turner couldnât help but step asid
One step from the door, Patricia almost hit the trolleys. Seeing the many empty plates piled up there, her jaw dropped. âOh my! What the
hell?â
Meanwhile, Victorâs gaze fell on the two toddlers on the bed. They both lay on their backs and closed their eyes. Their faces looked peaceful and cute because their tiny mouths were slightly open.
âCan they still sleep?â he sighed in disbelief.
âSorry, Sir. They were hungry and called food service. I was also surprised when the waiters came to take their order.â Turner bowed

his head deeply. His voice was heavy.
âYou guys let the children make a call?â
Patriciaâs voice made Turner flinch. âSorry, Maâam. We already unplugged the phone. We didnât expect the kids to be so smart.â
While Patricia snorted, the twins started to move around. After a while, they sat with still withered eyes.
âMr. Moore?â Louis rubbed his eyes. âIs it already an hour?â
Emily turned to look at the clock on the wall with one eye slightly opened. âWe fell asleep, Louis.â
âYou guys just had fun, huh?â Victor raised an eyebrow.
Sorry, Mr. Moore. We were hungry If you mind giving us free food, just tell us how much we need to pay. Iâll transfer it when I get home.â
âHome, you say?â Patriciaâs voice broke. âDonât ever think you guys can go home as long as Frank Harper hasnât made amends.â
The twins pursed their lips. However, before they could protest, Victor asked, âSo, have you finished discussing? Who should be sacrificed if your father is late in carrying out his duties?â
The twins didnât move. They forgot to prepare an answer. Seeing tha Patricia smiled cynically. She glanced at her husband.
âFrank Harper has ruined our daughterâs reputation, Darling. How about we repay him in kind? Letâs sacrifice her daughter.â
Emilyâs eyes spontaneously widened. Her chest felt tight and her lips. began to tremble. âYou want to throw me into the sea?â she asked in a small, heart-rending voice.
âWait a minute!â Louis furrowed his brows. âYou canât cheat, Mr. Moore. You asked us to discuss it. So, we are the ones who have the right to decide who should make the sacrifice, not you or Mrs. Moore.â

While the Moore couple listened, Louis took his younger sisterâs hand. âDonât be afraid, Emily. I wonât let them throw you overboard.â
A second later, Louis looked back at Victor. âIâve decided. Iâm the one who has to sacrifice first.â
âLouis, why did you say that?â Emily shook his hand.
âItâs okay, Emily. Iâm much stronger than you. My chances of surviving in the sea are greater than yours. Remember, I can already swim.â
âBut, what if you canât survive? I donât want you to die, especially not to save me. If that happens, I will definitely regret it and feel lonely. I wonât be able to sleep every night. I wonât stop crying all day long.â
However, Louis remained firm. âItâs okay, Emily. Iâve lived a few minutes longer than you. Besides, Daddy and Mommy asked me to look after you. Even if I die, I will feel proud. I can join Grandpa in heaven. You donât need to feel guiltyâ
Emily shook her head in disagreement. âNo, Louis. I donât want you to sacrifice for me.â
While pouting, the little girl glanced at Victor. âCanât you reconside your decision, Mr. Moore? Louis and I are still so young. We have lot of dreams to fulfill.â
Patricia snorted. She was sick of seeing the twins. âThereâs no point in complaining. Did your father think about our daughterâs fate before taking his action?â
Shaking her head slowly, Patricia muttered, âNo. He didnât hesitate at all when he published the video. Therefore, we wonât hesitate to reply either. Frank Harperâs daughter must atone for her fatherâs sins.â
Emily looked down, holding back her fear. Her hand gripped Louis tighter. âThen,â she peeked at Victor from the corner of her eye, âIâll just make the sacrifice.â
After a blink, Emily looked at her brother. âLouis, when Iâm gone,
I
please tell Mommy and Daddy that love them very much. I hope you donât mind making the clothes I designed. It would be a shame if they werenât sold. Iâve taken great pains to design them. And please look after Yemon for me. If you miss me, just hug him. He would also be very sad if I couldnât play with him anymore.â
Louis pouted too. âDonât say that, Emily. Iâm your older brother. Itâs natural for me to protect you. Besides, if you die, donât you feel sorry for Cayden? You promised to meet again later. What if he keeps waiting for you but youâre gone? He must be suffering so much.â
Victor sighed in disbelief when he heard that. âEnough! Letâs shorten the time. Since your discussion has not resulted in a decision, let me decide. In an hour, you will know the answer. Only if your father
denies it.â
