Smiling sweetly, Emily and Louis walked towards the crystal curtain. They giggled everytime they pulled the trigger of their guns. When the bubbles spread out reflected the reddish color of the twilight sky, they got amazed.

Distracted by the beauty, their tiny steps became unstable.

Sometimes they slowed down; sometimes they almost collided.

Everyone smiled adoring them.

“Were they that cute when they walked at our wedding?” Kara leaned towards Frank. Her hand on his chest felt warm.

Smiling, Frank rubbed her arm. “Yes, they’re that cute, but I don’t think Barbara is as pretty as you.”

Kara narrowed her eyes with a playful expression. “Don’t let Barbara hear that, Frank. She’ll frown.”

Frank laughed silently. “She has grown up. Today, she will start a family. She should no longer be affected by things like that, Queen

Bee.”

“Okay, but don’t try to test it. We want no trouble, Frank,” Kara

whispered, shaking her head firmly.

Excited by their closeness, Frank stole a kiss. “Yes, I know.”

Then, he returned his attention to the twins. Louis had arrived in fro

of Philip, handing him the ring box from under his suit.

“Thank you, Louis.”

“You’re welcome, Uncle.” Together with Emily, Louis ran to their

parents.

After letting their mother kiss their cheeks, Louis and Emily sat in the next chair. At that time, the bride showed up. Accompanied by her father, she walked with a bright smile. The remains of bubbles added to the exotic impression of sunset by the ocean.

“Wow! Auntie really looks different. She’s not like a fierce person.”

Emily giggled hearing Louis. “Don’t tease Auntie, Louis. Today is her special day.”

Arriving in front of Philip, Paul turned to face Barbara. His eyes filled with tears. His smile was full of emotions. When he closed his eyes, kissing his daughter’s forehead, a single tear escaped.

“Dad, why crying?” Barbara whispered softly. Her furrowed brows showed how difficult it was to hold back emotional turmoil.

Paul shook his head with his lips drawn inward. “I never expected to hand you over to another man so soon. It feels like you’re still little.”

“I’ve grown up, Dad.”

Paul took a deep breath. “Yes, I know.”

He hugged his daughter as if it was the last time. Then, nodding, he handed Barbara’s hand to Philip. “I entrust my daughter to you.”

“Ready, Sir. I will always take good care of her.”

While Paul walked to his seat, Philip and Barbara stood facing each other. The sight made everyone’s eyes widen.

“Wow….” Emily’s voice was shrill. Her sunglasses had been pushed down to her nose. “It’s so beautiful. Auntie and Philip are like dolls in

“Yes, I like the sunlight coming in through the gaps in the curtains.” Louis also looked down, peeking out from behind his sunglasses. “Its color is like gold among the grains of a rainbow.”

Frank secretly glanced at Kara. His wife was also amazed. “You like this place?”

Kara nodded. “Yeah. This is amazing.”

“Should we hold our wedding ceremony here later?”

Kara’s eyebrows furrowed in amusement. “How many times do you want to marry me?”

“I don’t mind repeating that vow with you. No matter how often it is, I won’t get bored. My promise will only get stronger.”

Kara smiled faintly. “I hope Philip’s promise to Barbara is as firm as that.”

Frank kissed Kara’s cheek. “Yeah, I hope so too.”

As the sun drew closer to the water’s edge, Philip and Barbara began to say their vows. Melanie couldn’t stop wiping her nose with tissu sheets. She regretted her past mistakes. She was grateful that Phili and Barbara were able to get through it.

Then, the most precious moment arrived. The twins held their breath. Both of their hands clenched as they waited for the right moment to

cheer.

“I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. Mister Martin, you may kiss your bride.”

Philip and Barbara moved closer. Small chuckles escaped them. The moment their lips touched, the twins spread their joy into the air.

“Woohoo! Philip is now our uncle!”

“We have two uncles now!” Emily also raised her hands. Her legs spontaneously straightened forward, matching the surge of energy.

After the kiss, Philip raised Barbara’s hand as if he had just won a

match.

“My wife!” he exclaimed, making everyone applaud.

Smiling, Barbara replied, “My husband!”

Then, laughing together, they walked out across the venue. The audience got up from their chairs. They congratulated the groom and the bride, giving them warm hugs.

“Auntie! Auntie!”

The twins jumped up and down when it was their turn.

Congratulations on your wedding. I hope you will quickly give us a younger cousin.”

Barbara laughed out loud. “Is that what you most expect from us?”

“Yes, but we also hope that your marriage will be happy, like Daddy and Mommy.”

Emily hugged Barbara so tightly that her dress deflated. Louis followed from the other side. Then, they rushed at Philip with adorable laughter.

“Uncle Philip! Uncle Philip!”

Their hands reached up. Philip lifted them up with his strong arms. Without warning, the twins kissed his cheek at the same time.

“Welcome to our family. We’re happy you’re officially part of the Harpers.”

“Thank you, Emily. But you have to remember. My last name is still

Martin.”

The twins nodded slightly. “Yeah, we know. Auntie’s last name wasn’t Harper either, but she’s one of us.”

Suddenly, another sound caught Philip’s attention. “Hello, Newlyweds.

Abigail approached with a sweet, meaningful smile. “Congratulation for your wedding.”

“Abi!” Philip caught the sadness in those forced bright eyes, but ignored it. After putting the twins down, he welcomed his old friend

into a hug. “Thank you for coming to my wedding.”

Abigail’s face turned gloomy. “I actually feel lucky to attend this special moment of your life.”

When the distance between them returned, her smile quickly turned warm. “You two make a great couple. I’m grateful you found a good girl.”

Philip nodded stiffly. “You’ll definitely meet a good partner too, Abi.

I’m sure.”

“Yes,” Abigail nodded slightly. “I hope so too.”

“Hi, Abi!”

Abigail turned her head. Barbara approached her with a cheerful face. Her hands rose, ready to embrace her. Abigail welcomed her with

open arms.

“Congratulations on your wedding, Mrs. Martin.” Her tongue felt

numb. Her smile was self-mocking. That was the last name she once wanted. She realized she must forget it.

“Thank you, Abi. I’m glad you’re here. Philip said you’re like a little sister to him.”

Abigail smiled and nodded. “Yeah, that’s how he treats me.”

As Abigail buried her dead hope, Bryan silently watched without expression. Meanwhile, a bodyguard walked quickly towards Frank. Everyone glanced over. Seeing the change in Frank’s expression, they knew. Patricia Moore had gotten into action.
