Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father
S31 163. Happy Families
âIâm fine with it. You?â Philip raised an eyebrow.
Barbara smiled. âOf course I want to. Itâs been a long time since I went on holiday to another continent. But I donât think this weekend is a good time. I donât want to look tired when I attend Jeremy and Avaâs wedding. How about three days after their wedding?â She held Philipâs hand tighter.
âOkay.â
Barbaraâs face brightened. With eyes radiating enthusiasm, she returned her gaze to Vivian. âIs that possible, Mrs. Bell?â
Receiving a nod from Vivian, Barbara let out a laugh. âThank you, Mrs.
Bell.â
Then, Barbara hugged Philip tightly. Her heart blossomed. She didnât expect that the dream honeymoon she had kept secret from Philip
could actually come true.
âThen if the plane tickets to Europe were given to Aunt Ava, where will Uncle Jeremy go on his honeymoon?â Louis asked, dampening
Barbaraâs cheerfulness.
âYes, where are you guys on your honeymoon?â Barbara sighed guiltily. âDonât let me and Philip have fun while you two just st home.â
Smiling faintly, Jeremy rubbed Avaâs arm. âEveryone has their way of having fun. Ours is different from yours.â
âDonât tell me youâre planning to take Ava on her honeymoon at the Savior office.â Philip squinted.
Jeremy snorted faintly. âThe workaholic wasnât me, but Frank. Luckily
Kara came to change him. Otherwise, do you think we could have time for a honeymoon?â
Frank raised an eyebrow. His eyes flickered. âWas I that bad before?â
âYes!â Philip and Jeremy answered in unison. Then lots of laughter could be heard.
âIs Daddy not a good boss?â Emily inquired with furrowed brows. She remembered that her mother had also complained about it.
âNot bad, but too rigid. His standards are so high. All the employees are afraid of him. If he gets angry, everyone will look down.â
While Frank scratched his temple, Louis patted his hand. âItâs okay, Daddy. Thereâs no need to be embarrassed. Youâre just trying to do your best. Thatâs good.â
Emily reached out and rubbed her fatherâs arm. âLouis is right. You just think too much about Savior. Itâs okay, Daddy.â
Frank smiled faintly. He kissed the twins one by one, whispering, â
Thank you, Kids.â
âYouâre welcome, Daddy.â The two toddlers smiled proudly.
Then, Frank lifted his chin. His eyes seemed mocking. âDid you hear
that? I did it for the Savior. You should understand that.â
âYes, we totally understand. Weâre not cornering you, Frank,â Jer said, teasing. Inwardly, he felt amused. Who would have thought Frank could turn into what he was now? The old Frank would h
been furious if someone criticized him about that.
âInstead of teasing Daddy, itâs better if you answer my question earlier, Uncle.â Louis put his hands on his hips and nodded. âWhere are you and Aunt Ava going on your honeymoon?â
âYou want to follow?â Barbara asked with a high arched eyebrow.
Louisâ lips pursed. âNo. Why will we follow? The honeymoon is a
special time for couples to spend time together. When Daddy and Mommy went on their honeymoon, we didnât come along.â
âThen why do you want to know so much? Thatâs suspicious.â Barbara raised an eyebrow.
Louis shook his head. âAs a lesson. Since Mommy and Daddy went on their honeymoon, Iâve been interested in developing a business related to that. I can work with Emily if that happens.â
Everyoneâs eyes widened spontaneously. Several people were
amazed.
âYouâre just like your father, Little Businessman,â Vivian sighed, making Louis smile a little. âHis brain is always full of creative ideas.â
âDaddy is my role model. When I grow up, I will be a great Savior leader too, along with Emily of course.â Louis folded his arms across his chest and nodded firmly. His style made everyone excited.
However, the little girl on Karaâs lap just blinked innocently. She wasnât in the mood to brag. Looking at Jeremy, she asked, âSo where will you be on your honeymoon, Uncle? Iâm curious.â
Jeremy smiled faintly. âYouâll find out later. Now, weâd better focus on our wedding and breakfast. Look! The food is starting to get cold.â
Louis immediately leaned against his father. His lips pursed in disappointment. âWhy do people like to make me curious?â
âRemember, Louis. Donât complain. Live every moment happily,â E said before getting off Karaâs lap. âLetâs go back to our seats and happily.â
After a breath, Louis came down, following his younger sister. His face sunk. His brain kept guessing. Where would his uncle go on his honeymoon?
Apparently, Louis wasnât the only one who couldnât stop thinking about the honeymoon. Barbara too! She kept imagining what fun she would have with Philip later. Even until she and Philip drove to the he and Philip drove to the
apartment, her thoughts were still wandering.
âIâve often visited big cities in Europe, but Iâve never visited the city weâre going to. I really canât wait to go there, Phil!â
Philip glanced over with a faint smile. Seeing his wifeâs bright face, he chuckled. âDo you have any idea what we are going to do there?â
Barbara nodded enthusiastically before looking down at her phone. âI was just checking. There are lots of things we can do-things Iâve never tried but youâll love.â
Philip furrowed one eyebrow. âWhat are they?â
âDefinitely not shopping because the scenery there is much more attractive than the shopping center.
Philipâs eyes widened again. âYou want to explore nature?â
Barbara smiled mysteriously. âYou like it, right? I think it will be very challenging.â
âAre you sure, Babe? Your feet will blister and your body will be flooded with sweat. You will also be very tired.â
âThatâs why I want to try it. You donât mind helping me, right? I promise it wonât be too much trouble. Iâll show you my tough s the twins canât underestimate me anymore.â
Barbara raised one hand to show off her flat bicep. Seeing that, P let out an amused sigh.
âOkay. Letâs prepare everything well. Now,â Philip stopped the car in the parking lot of their apartment, âletâs focus on our home first.â
âOkay.â
When she got out of the car, Philip immediately carried her. Receiving such treatment, Barbaraâs laughter was in the air.
âPhilip? Is this necessary? What if someone sees?â
âThen they will know that we are newlyweds. Please press the elevator button, Babe.â
Barbara happily complied with her husbandâs request. In the elevator, they whispered and laughed. Their affection was so thick in the air.
However, when they arrived at their floor, Philip and Barbara flinched. Their joy slowly faded. Philip had to put Barbara down before they entered. The door in front of them was not closed properly!
