Half an hour passed, Barbara was panting. Her face was red, covered

“Phil, is this the peak? Have we finished yet?” Barbara smiled brightly. as she climbed the top of the stairs. Many other climbers were taking photos nearby. The green grass between the rocks with a backdrop of blue sea and clear sky was really pleasing to the eyes.

“No, Babe. The peak is up there. Are you still strong enough to continue? The terrain is steep.”

Barbara looked at Philip’s index finger. “You want to keep holdin hand, right?” She raised an eyebrow.

Philip nodded and took her hand. Barbara smiled sweetly. “Then

come on!”

“You still want to continue to the top?”

Barbara looked back. Seeing Shania’s presence, she grimaced. “Philip, let’s walk faster.”

“No need to rush, Babe. Just ignore her.”

“I want to arrive at the top with you. Just the two of us. Without her.”

Unfortunately, in her haste, Barbara got off to the wrong foot. She slipped. Even though she was holding on to Philip, one of her knees

still hit the ground.

“Ouch!”

“Babe?” Philip quickly helped her up. Barbara’s trousers now had stains at the knees and were slightly torn.
