“Louis, Auntie is about to give birth!” Emily rose with a high arch of

her eyebrows.

“You’re right! We have to take her to the hospital!”

“You told us to call Uncle Philip!” Louis shook his head, not understanding.

“Yeah, but don’t leave me here.” While limping, she inched closer to Louis and Emily. “One person calls him. One more person, hold me!

The twins blinked. Not because they didn’t understand, but because they were surprised that Barbara could walk that badly. Even a 90-yea -old grandmother could do better than that!

“Why are you still?” Barbara waved again. “Hurry up and call Philip!”

The twins blinked. Louis poked his chest with his thumb. “I’m a faster runner than you, Emily. So, let me call Uncle. You help Auntie walk carefully. You’re strong, right?”

“You still have time to discuss? Hurry up and do it!”

“Okay!”

Louis ran again. His hand waved, hoping to catch Philip’s attention. Unfortunately, the man was too focused on the sound from his earphones. Only when Louis was panting in front of him did he take his eyes off the phone.

Philip got up from the park bench. In the distance, Barbara was having difficulty walking even though Emily was holding her hand.

“Okay, I’m sorry. Let’s go to the hospital.” Philip carried Barbara walked quickly towards the car. Meanwhile, Emily ran as hard as s

could.

“Louis, quickly open the car door!” Philip shouted, a few meters fror the parking lot.

Louis ran over instead. “Where is the car key?”

“In my trouser pocket.” Philip stopped for a moment, letting Louis reach into his pocket.

Emily swiftly reached into the other pocket. While she pressed the button on the lock, Louis ran to open the door for Barbara.

“Hurry up, Uncle!” Louis held the door. His other hand waved,

gesturing for Philip to pass.

Then, while Philip lowered Barbara into the seat, Louis took the car keys from Emily’s hand. He climbed into the driver’s seat, started the engine.

“Uncle, if I drive, we can arrive at the hospital sooner.”

administration takes time. He has a lot to write.” Emily stroked
