Chapter 464
The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 464: A TRAP (6)
Thankfully, before the door sustained any permanent damage, Redmond had opened the door. He glared at Ethan, but was immediately taken aback when he saw how furious the Gamma looked, as if he had just killed his destined mate.
"What?!" Redmond frowned so hard, but he didnât provoke Ethan as usual.
"Do you have any clue what your second in command is doing right now?!" Ethan gritted his teeth, his eyes staring intensely at Redmond. They had worked together for the past few months, thus Ethan refused to believe that he couldnât tell when this warrior before him tried to tell a lie.
"What? Drinking? What is Lyle doing now?" Redmond was confused, Ethan had never been interested in Lyle before.
Ethan could see how genuinely clueless Redmond was about what was going on. He must have holed himself up inside the bedroom, until he had not yet heard what his second in command was trying to achieve at this moment.
It was Lucas, who answered that. "He mobilized all the warriors of the Blue Moon pack to attack us! He wanted to take over the Howling Wolf pack!"
Lucas was enraged, as Redmond was a warrior from the Blue Moon pack too.
"What?!" Redmond widened his eyes in shock. "No way! He will do no such thing without my permission!"
Thankfully, because most of the warriors of the Blue Moon pack were assigned to work in the mines and only some of them worked at the entrance gates of the pack, they could only gather outside the pack gates and right now, Jace and the warriors under his command were trying to hold them back.
The peace wouldnât last long, since the number of warriors under Jaceâs command at the moment was not that great.
Currently, there were around a thousand warriors in the Blue Moon pack. Of which, half were still in the Blue Moon pack. As such, there were at least five hundred warriors under Lyle who were trying to knock down their fortress right now.
It was not clear whether the other five hundred would also join them or not. Not to mention the royal warriors were backing them up.
Meanwhile, there were around one thousand and five hundred warriors in the Howling Wolf pack. They outnumbered them, though not to a great extent, but still, it would be an ugly battle if they managed to tear down the fortress.
"Great! Now command them to back off!" Ethan roared, he was enraged, even words couldnât describe how angry he was, especially when Hacoâs words kept replaying in his mind.
If the situation was this chaotic here, what about Cane and Iris? They were literally in the mountains with the King and more than half of the royal warriors.
"Where are they?!" Redmond was seething now, as he walked out of the bedroom, but before he could leave, Ethan grabbed his shoulder and glared intensely at him. "What now?!" Redmond snapped at him.
"Are you sure you are not on their side?" Ethan narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Are you going to join them too?"
Redmond swatted Ethanâs hand away and looked at him disdainfully. "Even if I am going to join them, what difference does it make? All of them are rebelling against you, do you think me joining them alone will give them a significant advantage?" Redmond hissed.
Ethan thought about it for a while. "You have a good point there."
However, instead of going with Redmond, he went to see Will. He was still inside his room, staring at the empty wall in front of him.
Ethan really wanted to shake him, so he could get back to his senses.
"Will! Wake up, my friend! I need your help! I need you to go to the Riverside pack!" Ethan shook his body, but Willâs eyes looked so empty. "Damn it, Will! We are going to die if we donât do anything! The Alpha and the Luna are in danger and there is a rebellion at our entrance gates!"
They needed more warriors to defend the pack and look for their alpha in the Goffa mountain. Ethan prayed so hard that nothing would happen to Cane and Iris.

"My King, what do you mean by this?" Sir Elijah looked around him, as the royal warriors assumed a fighting stance. Some of them had already shifted into their wolves. "I thought we were going to hunt white foxes for Lady Cyan."
Sir Elijah was clueless about the Kingâs intentions. He came here alone and didnât bring any of his warriors along.
"Shut up!" King Aeon snapped at him, which made him flinch.
Meanwhile, Leon smiled smugly at Cane, he had been wanting to kill this alpha ever since he humiliated him and his daughter. If he had taken Nala as his mistress, his daughter wouldnât have gone through such hell under the King. What was so great about this alpha to actually reject his daughter?
On the other hand, Cane approached Iris and his nine warriors, who had formed a circle around their luna, while Alpha Dristan stayed close to him.
The only personal guard he had with him was useless in this situation.

Indeed, women followed different ways when plotting something. They would dance harmlessly around their target before they strike them.
"I should have done that a long time ago," King Aeon replied. He dropped all the pretenses now and looked at Cane disdainfully. "You look like your mother. She is a beautiful woman, your mother. Itâs a pity that she was my sister. I would have loved to have her."
Iris felt like she wanted to gag when she read what King Aeon said. She knew how immoral people with power could be, but how could he lust after his own sister?
