Chapter 785
The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 785: THEY HAVE GONE MISSING The wound on her thigh had been healed and only left a very small scar, which you wouldnât notice if you didnât see it closely, but then this tiny scar was nothing compared to all the scar on her body. Therefore, Iris didnât seem to care about it.
However, from that scar, she would feel this occasional pain, it felt like someone accidentally touched your wound. The pain didnât last for long, but it was enough to make Iris uncomfortable and people around her would notice that.
"Should I write to Grace and ask her to concoct something for you, luna?" Will asked with concern. Hanna was very concern about Iris and this rubbed on him as well.
Currently, Grace was with the knights, she was with Cedricâs group, since the knight needed her assistance more than the shifter. She didnât need to stay with Iris too, because the luna was fine and even so, her power didnât really help with her.
"You donât need to, this is not something worth to mention," Iris brushed it off. "It will heal eventually. It must be the remaining pain only."
Iris was still wondering why her body didnât purify the black magic immediately. But, she and Abby made an assumption the reason was because this was the power of Decratic, though in Irisâs opinion, it still didnât make sense.
Abby might not know in detail about her power, but Iris knew what she could do with black magic.
"I think I need to write to Haco," Iris muttered to herself. "Letâs see if he has lucid mind to reply to my letter..."
Hearing that, Will turned stiff. Aside from forgetting about her babies, Iris also forgot small random things that didnât relate to the babies at all. It almost felt like there were a lot of holes in her memories, but she didnât seem to notice it yet.
More so, the death of Haco happened only a day before they moved to the Blue Moon pack and during those period of times, the luna was at her lowest. The alpha didnât have heart to mention anything about him, so did all the people.
Even if Iris wrote for him, it must Della, who would receive the letter and he could give Iris a head up about what happened.
However, Will decided to clamp his mouth. He feared Irisâs reaction if he told her that Haco had gone...
With that, they arrived at the carriage and Hanna and Will escorted them out until the gates, waving their hands and wished them a safe journey.
"Do you know where is Zale? I have not yet seen him since this morning," Hanna asked Will, once the carriage disappeared from their sight.
Iris had told that young boy sternly that he had to stay in the Riverside pack, but Hanna doubted he would listen obediently. All of them already knew that boyâs attitude and his obstinate nature.
"I saw him in the kitchen earlier, he was sulking there." Will told her, as he helped her to enter the carriage that would take them to the pack house, while the main gates were closed again.
"Oh, itâs good then... I am worried, he will go to follow the luna..." Hanna said in relief.
However, hours later when he looked for the young boy, they couldnât find him anywhere and when they realized Zale was no longer in the pack, a day had passed.
However, Zale was not the only one, who had gone missing today, because at the same time, at the Howling Wolf pack, Ezra was crying because he couldnât find Lil Thing.
He used to carry Lil Thing everywhere like a doll, but the little creature was nowhere to be seen. He took a nap this afternoon and when he opened his eyes, the little white bear had gone.
Grilla tried to console him, but to no avail. Ezra was disheartened, he wanted to keep searching for it, but Grilla didnât allow him to go out, because he kept producing diamond when he cried. The alpha had told her about his unique ability and said sternly not to let anyone saw it.
However, as if luck was not on their side, Kaz entered the room and witnessed how Ezra produced diamond whenever he was crying.
"What is that?!" Kaz was dumbstruck to see a lot of diamond.
His voice startled the little white diamond and he stopped crying, Ezra hid behind Grilla. He looked terrified, as unpleasant memories flooded his mind.
"Is this... is this... is he the one, who produced this?" Kaz widened his eyes to see diamond. "There are so many of this! How can you do that?!"
The first thing that came in Kazâs mind was these diamonds could help them survive for another month once the ships could sail again and they could buy a lot of things from the merchant.
"Is he really able to produce diamond?!" Kaz had ever heard about White Diamond Tiger, but he had never seen one in his entire life, thus when he witnessed what this young boy could do, he was flabbergasted.
However, after his initial shock worn off, he felt incredulously excited. After all, diamond was a gem! Not like magic stone that was restricted to magic user and healer only, though the price was still bellow magic stone, but still diamond could be bought by anyone.
"Is he the White Diamond Tiger?" Kaz asked, he moved closer to take a better look on Ezra. He had noticed him ever since he arrived in this pack because of his white hair, but he didnât pay attention because he thought this little boy was not important enough.
But, who would have thought...
Grilla could feel Ezra was trembling behind her body and she could feel the fear that thrummed within this poor little creature. "Kaz, drop it." Her voice was stern, though she didnât raise it.
"What?" Kaz blinked his eyes, he still tried to get a better look on Ezra.
"Whatever you are thinking, drop it," Grillaâs voice became even more firm. "The alpha said not to let anyone learn about him."
Finally, Kaz regarded Grilla. "I will not let anyone know about him if thatâs what the alpha wanted," he replied. He didnât need to tell anyone about Ezra, all he needed was the diamond.
"No." Grilla seemed to understand what was going through Kazâs mind. "You will taste the alphaâs wrath if you kept trying to go through with your plan." Grilla kept bringing the alphaâs name.
Kaz didnât seem to like it, but he agreed. "Fine. I will not do anything, but what are you going to do with these diamonds?"
"I will keep it."
After that, Grilla told Kaz to leave and search for Lil Thing, since they lost the creature.
"I am sorry," Ezra apologized through his tears, he tried to stop crying, but her whole body was still shaking. "I lost Lil Thing, luna must be very sad.
The alpha must be very angry because now Kaz knew I am White Diamond Tiger. I am sorry..."
"Itâs okay, itâs okay... the alpha will not be mad at you. You donât need to worry. Letâs look for Lil Thing, okay? But, you need to stop crying." Grilla hugged him.
Ezra nodded and wiped his tears before both of them went out of the room. Grilla stored away the diamond and would give them to the alpha and luna once they returned.

They went through the tunnel that had been built, which connected the Riverside pack and Chrystal Moon pack and shortened their travel time between both packs.
There, Iris met with Redmond, but she didnât see Abby, because the Serafim had gone with Cedricâs group to Bloody Moon pack.

Surviving the Apocalypse with my Multiplier System "You look skinny," Redmond said when he saw Iris got off the carriage.
A smile on Irisâs face dropped upon hearing the way he greeted her, but then what else she should expect from him?
"Itâs nice to see you too, Redmond," Iris emphasized her every word, but Redmond didnât seem to bother by her remark.
"I will take you to your house, come. I need to take care of something," he said, while Amee complained that this warrior didnât show any respect toward Iris.
"She is your luna, show some respect," Amee reprimanded him.
"Life in the battlefield is hard, you know, so pardon for my roughness," Redmond retorted nonchalantly and walked away, but Iris stopped him.
Actually, she didnât mind with the way Redmond talked to her, because she felt the familiarity in his rudeness and this comforting in a way she couldnât describe.
"Wait, I think you need to greet someone too," Iris said, she nodded at the second carriage.
"Who?" Redmond frowned. There were a lot of people here, so he couldnât pick certain scents in the air immediately.
"Go there and look, I think they are sleeping right now. I will go with the other warrior." Iris waved her hand to order the nearby warrior to escort her.
"Why should I go?" Redmond frowned.
"Because I told you so," Iris replied in a matter of fact tone. After all, Redmond pledged his loyalty to her, thus he needed to oblige her.
Begrudgingly, Redmond dragged his feet toward the second carriage, but the close he got, he quickened his step and once he was standing in front of the carriage door, he opened it impatiently.
A smile bloomed on his lips when he saw Sofia and her two babies were sleeping peacefully inside, while Iris was also smiling happily to see this hotheaded manâs happiness.
