Chapter 818
The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 818: THE WAR OF DARKNESS AND LIGHT (3)
"What is actually going on?!" Alpha Derick was dumbstruck when he saw a living dragon in the sky and even more when he learned what happened in Caneâs campsite.
They were in the opposite side, but it didnât mean, alpha Derick stopped caring for the young alpha, after all, alpha Josh was his best friend. He didnât wish to end up as an enemy to his son.
"Alpha, what should we do now? Should we go back or continue to go to Diandem pack?" His beta asked him. Complicated look crossed his face. He didnât think alpha Derick would be able to Alpha Derick was having a hard time to decide his stance, but when he glanced at his son inside the carriage, he gritted his teeth and ordered them to keep going to Diandem pack. He needed to meet with the healer or the magic user, who was able to save prince Kellanâs legs, in order to save his son. Both of his children were sick, he couldnât care less about the war.
"Keep going!" alpha Derick roared his order.
"Yes, alpha!"
Meanwhile, the same report reached Kellanâs ears. He also saw the dragon with his own eyes. Zeke had told him about the masterplan of Decratic, but he didnât tell him in detail that it would involve a myth creature like a dragon.
Kellanâs guffaw filled the tent, as he caressed one of his little girlâs head, who was kneeling beside him, as he sat on a comfortable chair.
Arella was still laying down on the bed, couldnât move a finger, but tears streamed down her face when she heard what Kellan had done to the poor little girls.
Kellan didnât even shy to do it in the same tent with her presence. She was forced to hear the sickening moan from the man that supposed to be her mate and the silent cry from the little girls. Never in million years, she would have thought the respectable man that her father adored the most would be capable of doing something very disgusting like this.
She was very naïve and stupid to fall into his trap and his sweet words. Hatred and rage smeared Arellaâs heart. The mate bond between them couldnât even help with how much she felt so disgusted by this man.
Æreewebηoveâ.com "Great..." Kellan said with satisfaction. "Anything else, Bion?" he caressed the little girl cheek and kissed her head, as the poor little one flinched and this made him smiled.
Bion was a royal warrior, who had been with Kellan every since he was a crown prince and now he was "We received a report alpha Derick is on the way here." Bion glanced at the curly haired little girl, who curled her body and clutched her chest. She didnât dare to make a sound.
Kellan frowned because he didnât see the use for that man to come here at all, more so there was no report about it beforehand. "What for? Why he came here all of sudden?"
Bion then explained about the emergency letter that alpha Derick had sent by the messenger hawk, informing the prince about Ceziâs condition.
"Grebis?" Kellan repeated the report.
On the bed, Arella cried even more in silent. Her brother was her only hope, because her father wouldnât be able to see past through Kellanâs lie.
Arella knew her father so much, she would bet on her life that alpha Derick would believe what Kellan said instead of her words, even if she could speak right now.
"That the same illness in the Silver River pack, right?" Kellan knew alpha Derick took back his warrior to that pack after he failed to subdue Caneâs warriors and the knights.
"Yes, my prince," Bion replied and this made Kellan laughed, his laughter echoed inside the tent, which scared the little girl, she curled her body even more, but she couldnât go anywhere when Kellanâs clutch was on her neck.
"Great! Great!" Kellan slapped his thigh while laughing. "In that case, itâs only a matter of time for him to die." There was a gleam of satisfaction in Kellanâs eyes when he realized that fact. "Is there any order from the king or from Zeke?"
"This far, there is no order from either of them," Bion said. He didnât know the detail, but his prince had been very loyal to the king, which was no other than the former prince Alan. Previously, the two of them were not in a good term, due to the situation they were in.
"Hm..." Kellan then asked about alpha Colter and Diandem pack.
"They are still thriving, but it will only be a matter of time before they gave up. They must have been running out of food by now."
"Hmm..." Kellan kissed the little girlâs head again and then dismissed Bion. He waved his hand casually and then fixed his attention to the little girl again. "Do you want to play with me again, little one?"
The little girl started to cry when Kellan picked her body up and placed her on his lap.
"Donât cry sweet girl. Donât you enjoy playing with me?" Kellan leaned over and kissed her lips.
============================
The damage the lycan had done to the dragon was massive, as he managed to tear one of its wings and caused the majestic creature falling so hard to the ground, toppled Dexter, who was riding on its back.
However, the lycan didnât have time to finish off this dragon when he saw what happened between Iris and Decratic.
The warriors and the knights couldnât continue his work either, since the monsters were still a threat for them. Aside from the monsters, they had to move away from where Iris and Decratic were if they didnât want to be blown away by the harsh wind.
The sky gradually turned so bright, so you could see clearly what actually was going on and when the lycan crossed the battlefield, everyone witnessed with their own eyes this cursed creature.
The Serafim was dumbstruck to see the lycan, so did all the knights. This cursed creature shouldnât be here and just like Decratic, they needed to get rid of the cursed creature too.
Unfortunately, the situation was not on their favor.
Abby watched as the lycan killed some of the monsters, as it charged toward the eye of the storm that Iris and Decratic created.
"Move back to Diandem pack!" Eron said loudly, as he he still supported Redmond, whose skin had peeled off, he was still breathing, but his condition was alarming. "Serafim! Help him! That man cursed him!"
Abby immediately went to check on Redmondâs condition, while they moved back to Diandem pack, used the pack fortress for their advantage, knowing alpha Derick and his men had left their base there.
There were not many Celestial Moon pack warriors there, thus it was not hard for them to take down their fortification and used it for their own advantage.
The monsters that came from the portal was very overwhelming. They needed to close the portal, but the Serafimâs power alone and the five magic users were not enough to do so, especially when Abby was not in her best condition after she absorbed the dark magic.
Everyone gritted their teeth, the knights went into the pack first, because there was not many of them left, while the shifters fought the monsters in the frontline.
Faraway from them, Iris and Decratic were still tangled inside the eye of the storm, while the lycan charged toward them.
Meanwhile, Lou and Zale were nearby, but the two of them couldnât come closer due to the violence wind that pushed them back.
"Close the gate! CLOSE THE GATE!" Eron gave an order, while some of the warriors shifted into their human form and put down the gates.
It was a total chaos, while the sky turned so bright and you could see blood smeared the ground, turned it into the color of red.
"CLOSE THE GATES NOW!"
"NO! HOLD ON! OUR WARRIORS ARE STILL OUTSIDE!"
The warriors had a hard time because they couldnât use mindlink to communicate with each other when they were in their beast form, thus some of them had to shift back into their human form first before they couldnât communicate with the other warriors.
"THERE IS NO TIME!" Cedric roared, he went up to grab the lever, so the gates could be closed, since there were monsters that managed to enter into the pack.
The knight had an altercation with the warriors, who wanted to wait until all the warriors entered the pack, but if they waited, all of them would be killed, there was no point to retreat behind the fortress.
A few knights helped Cedric as well.
Meanwhile, in the furthest area from the gates, Aliana instructed Grace to stay with Ethan, as she, Joel and Finn shifted into their beasts and joined the fight.
Eron came not long after with Redmond and Abby, Liam was still with the Serafim, to make sure she was well protected.
"What happened with him?!" Abby asked, she gasped when she saw Redmondâs skin, blood had coated the shirt and pants he was wearing.
"He was being cursed! Do something!" Eron growled. "I will leave him with you!"
After saying that, Eron shifted into his beast and joined the fray as well. He needed to fight those monsters, or else, there was nothing they could save anymore and in a way, Cedric was right, they needed to close the gates, if they wanted to preserve the remaining of their people.
Along with Joel and Finn, Aliana fought some beasts, she charged forward to look for her brother, who unfortunately, still outside of the gates. Jace fought a Brinetallon with Zephyr and Dean. The three of them were overwhelmed and it was clear to see they sustained a great injuries too, because their movement was getting so slow.
Aliana charged forward, she couldnât stay still and witness her brotherâs death, especially when the gates were slowly closing down.
But, Pax blocked her. Both of them were in their beast form and it was obvious that Pax didnât want Aliana to go out there and risked her life, but how could she let the only family she had to die without doing anything?

Aside from the three of them, there were still dozen of warriors out there, who had to deal with so many monsters, even a miracle wouldnât save them if they didnât open the gates now.
"GET OFF ME!" Aliana roared to Pax, while the other warriors inside the fortress fought some of the monsters, who managed to enter. Those monsters were not a threat, as their number was not many.
Pax immediately released Aliana and shifted into his human form too, he thought she would hit him or slap him, as he was ready himself to accept that. He knew how Aliana felt right now, this was a hard decision, but he needed to do it, in order to save more people.
But, instead of having to deal with Pax, Aliana actually went up to where Cedric was, since he was the one, who had closed the gates and hit him so hard, the knight fell back with bleeding nose.
"OPEN THE GATES NOW YOU IMBECILE!" Aliana screamed on the top of her lungs, her fingers broken because of how hard she hit Cedric, so you could imagine what kind of damage she had done to the knight, but as a shifter, she healed quickly and was ready to throw another punch and broke more bones in his body. "IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY BROTHER, I AM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU USELESS PEOPLE!" Her body was shaking with rage.
