Iris was still upset because the elders questioned her ability to detect the black magic, but now once they had confirmed it, they came to her to do the job? "I think you already knew the answer. You can feel it, right? The shield contained with Decratic’s black magic." "You smell different..." Cane said sleepily.

"Really?" Iris didn’t think much about that and fell asleep, while out there the elders and their magic users were still trying to take down their enemy’s protection shield.

Iris only woke up when the sky had turned bright red and the first thing she saw was Cane’s dark eyes. She actually woke up because he caressed her earlobe.

"You look skinnier..." Cane said, his voice was a little bit rough, but Iris was very familiar with his gesture.
