Chapter 993: BONUS Chapter: LITTLE GIRL Just like how Iris promised them, once they turned five, they could have their own bedrooms. They celebrated their fifth birthday three months ago, Cane took them with Lou to go on a journey to Andelus continent by ship.

Iris couldn’t come because she hated being on the ship, she didn’t enjoy it at all. The last time they went to Andelus continent was when Zenith and Zander were only a year old and Iris didn’t want to do it anymore.

Zander and Zenith begged her to allow them to go and Cane reassured her that he would take care of them.

After hesitating for a long time and Cane agreed with a long list that he had to do and not to do with the boys, Iris let them go.

And the two little ones were very happy to have this journey with their father and their favorite uncle. Zander didn’t stop talking about it for weeks.

Ezgar would produce a bunch of diamond if Zale didn’t stop Zander to bother the diamond white tiger with his story.

Ezgar and Zale were like an older brother for them, but if they were being mischievous, it must be Zale’s idea.

And because Zenith and Ezgar used not to talk much, they would follow what Zale’s said and in extent Zander.

The most they did was sneaking out at night, thankfully Lil Thing came to Joel to alert the warrior, thus the four of them were brought back before they went to Goffa mountain.

It happened only a few weeks ago.

"I like my room!" Zander screamed happily, as he went into his new room and rolled on the soft bed. He was five years old now.

Iris felt they grew up very fast. She remembered how she used to hug them and check on them every few hours at night, but now they would sleep in different room, a little bit away from Cane and her room.

"I am big already!" Zander said happily. "I have my own room! I am already big! I can join the training with Zale!"

Zander then rushed toward Cane, he raised his arms, asking to be picked up.

"Didn’t you say that you are already big? Why do you ask to be picked up?" Redmond spoke. He was here because Cane forgot about something and he needed to remind him.

Zander pursed his lips. "I am still little too." He then shifted his attention toward Cane. "I will join training, right? When can I train?"

Cane picked up his son. "Later, when you are six, you can go to a training."

However, Zenith didn’t like the idea, he turned toward their mother and hugged her legs. "I don’t want to go training." He scrunched his little nose, as if the idea annoyed him so much. Probably because he needed to be up so early and the idea of that was not so appealing.

Iris picked Zenith up and he hugged her tightly. "You will like it, there is Joel and Finn, who will train you. Rye and Lucia also will go training."

Zenith sulked and Iris cheered him up by taking him to his bedroom.

This room was not as colorful as Zander’s since Zenith liked soft color more and had a bigger bed than Zander.

Also, there was this soft carpet, where Lil Thing could sleep, because the bear was closer to Zenith than Zander, as the two of them were very similar.

"Let’s go play outside!" Zander said happily after they checked Zenith’s room. "Lil Thing too! Let’s go!" He took his brother’s hand and they went out.

"They are very different." Redmond shook his head, but then frowned. "Don’t you think Zenith always looks lethargic? Is that normal?"

"Yeah, I noticed that too," Iris mumbled.

At beginning, she thought it’s because they simply had different personality, where Zander was the active one, but to see how Zenith always looked tired, she didn’t think it was normal.

Cane didn’t join in this conversation, but he fell into a deep thought. Later that night, he called Lou to discuss something and give him a task, in which made the merchant grumbled and cursed at him.

Later that night, Cane and Iris came to their son’s bedroom, since this was the first time they would sleep separated from each other and stayed in room that was not next to them.

Though the situation in this kingdom was relative peaceful and the protection around the palace was top notch, but the king and queen still had their own concern, especially when it came to their babies.

Cane came to Zenith’s room first, while Iris went to Zander, but after they said their ’goodnight’ and gave a few kisses, they switched to the other room.

"I love you, daddy..." Zander said sleepily, yawning. The same thing that he told Iris earlier, he was very affectionate and bright child.

"I love you too, Zan," Cane said, he kissed the tip of his nose and he giggled. "Sleep now."

The king watched as his little one fell asleep, so did Iris with Zenith.

However, Zenith slept too much during the day, thus he was still awake when Iris finished the story about the little girl and the monster.

"Why don’t you sleep?" Iris asked, she laid down with Zenith and saw his bright blue eyes stared at her.

"I don’t feel sleepy." Zenith played with her hair.

"That’s why, you can’t sleep too much during the day."

Zenith pursed his lips and looked around him before he looked his mother again and said something that made Iris’s heart skipped a beat. "There is little girl."

"What little girl?"

"There is little girl with you."

"Hm? You mean little girl in the story?"

Zenith shook his head and then pointed her stomach. "Little girl," he said.

Iris didn’t know what to feel about this. Was this only a coincidence, or Zenith only said something randomly? But then, it already came to her attention that Zenith might not only be a shifter. Just like how she had more than one birthright.

At first, Iris didn’t want to bother or even entertain the idea, but she couldn’t shake this feeling, thus after a week since what Zenith said to her, even though he had never said anything about it anymore, Iris came to see Penny, she was the royal healer now.

"Heaven!" Penny was shocked, her eyes lit up and this made Iris became more nervous. She felt her ears were ringing with the anticipation.

"What is it?" Iris asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Luna! You are pregnant!" Penny then congratulated her. "You must be around four to five weeks now!"

"Really? Are you sure about that?"

Iris didn’t think she would get pregnant again, not because they didn’t want to have another child, but the topic had never come up and they were already content with their boys. She didn’t even expect this.

If it was not for what Zenith said the other night, Iris wouldn’t be aware of her pregnancy, because she didn’t feel any change on her body. But, one thing that she was sure about was; the baby was not a shifter, since she didn’t see her wolf spirit and she didn’t think her ability to see spirit aside from shifters included the one that was still unborn.

Yet, Zenith actually could.

At night, when Cane just returned from his long day and visited their boys to kiss them goodnight, though they were already sleeping, Iris was still awake to wait for him. She couldn’t wait to tell him about this news.

However, she was a little bit nervous. She didn’t know how he would react. In the past, when she told him about her pregnancy with the boys, he didn’t take it well, but then the situation was very different now.

"Why don’t you sleep?" Cane approached Iris and kissed her lips.

"I am waiting for you," Iris replied, she clung onto him.

"I am dirty, I will clean myself first." Cane didn’t hug her back, because he didn’t want to dirty her nightgown.

"I will help you." Iris grinned when Cane raised his brows.

In the end, they ended up taking a bath together. Iris was resting her body against Cane’s chest, while the alpha put his hand against her breast, he pinched her nipple and bit her ear, which made Iris giggled.

"I thought you are going to help me," Cane teased her.

"I helped you, didn’t I?"

"Hm." Cane’s hand went down to caress her stomach, which made Iris gasped, but the king didn’t think of anything with her reaction. "You helped me with something else."

Iris enjoyed this moment together. They cherished a moment like this, especially when they couldn’t have it all the time. They had to divide their time for the matter in this kingdom, their babies and other things.

"What do you think we have another baby?" Iris asked casually, but her heart was beating so fast, waiting for Cane’s reaction.

The king didn’t give respond immediately, he gave some thought about this, but was not against the idea. "The situation is different now. It will be lovely," he said. "Do you want to try for a baby?"

Cane was aroused even more when Iris shifted her body and looked at him. She literally straddled him, he groaned when his mate nibbled on his lip.

"We have one on the way," Iris said against his lips, which made Cane pulled back.

"What did you say?"
