but so far I haven’t seen anything that doesn’t belong.

‘Rowan, I have Vince’s scent.‘ Heath’s voice comes over the Pack link, Atlas doesn’t even slow down

as he starts veering off towards where his voice is coming from.

‘Francis, get them home.‘ I command the warrior as Atlas pushes himself harder to get us to Heath

faster, I’m coming, stay there.‘ Atlas is practically gliding over the mud and rocks, I barely even see the

trees he’s dodging as he makes his way to Heath.

‘Beta, here.‘ Atlas stops so quickly that the rocks and dirt gather around his paws, any other time I bet

Heath would laugh at me but right now he’s standing buck naked next to a massive oak tree. Walking

over to him I stick my nose into the bark, I can smell the earthy scent of the trees but I can also smell a

vodka soaked spice that doesn’t belong.

‘It’s definitely Vince.‘ I sniff along the floor and pick you Storm and Cray, Selena’s wolf. ‘Alpha and

Selena came through here.‘ Heath nods. his head before dropping to his hands and knees, stepping

back from him, I keep an eye on the area around us. A shifter is their most vulnerable when shifting,

unlike an Alpha or Beta, Heath’s wolf will take time to come out. After some grunting and the sounds of

bones snapping Blynx is standing beside me, he lets Atlas take the lead, together we run off in the

direction Cas was leading the women.

‘Why is Alpha with Selena?‘ Heath asks me over the Pack link, our wolves are running full out but they

are also trying to stay quiet just in case we come across Vince, Mitch or Jeremy.

“The four of us were down at the pond when you told him about the rogues. I went to guide the Pack

back to the Pack house and he took Eva and Selena directly home.‘ Atlas stops and starts sniffing the

ground, Cas’s scent is stronger which means he is very close by.

“You smell that?‘ Blynx comes up beside me and starts sniffing at the

floor.

“Steal my woman once, shame on me.” Jeremy’s voice comes to use loud and clear, he’s not shouting

but compared to our wolf hearing he might as well be. “Steal my woman twice, shame on you.” Atlas

lowers himself to the ground as I urge him to get closer to Jeremy so I can see who he’s speaking to. I

feel Blynx next to me, glancing to the side I see he’s in the same position as me.

“What are you doing here Jeremy?” I become still at the sound of Cas’s voice, not only is he there but

he’s standing on two legs instead of four.

‘Why did he shift?‘ Heath asks me, I shake my head instead of answering him, I refuse to answer until I

can see for myself. There has to be a reason why Cas would shift back instead of staying in his wolf

form.

“Don’t worry, Vince won’t attack until I tell him too.” The hairs on the back of my neck go on end as I

realise Vince is around here. somewhere too, not only that but if Cas is here so is my mate and Eva.

“It’s actually impressive what you can get a shifter to do once you have the percentage right on each

drug.” I keep creeping forward as Blynx starts going off to the left.

‘Where are you going?” I ask him quickly.

‘Vince, he’s over here. You go for Jeremy.‘ I urge Atlas forward as Blynx and Heath get further away

from us.

“Lisa is gone and John is clean, there is no one else here for you to control.” Poking my head through a

bush I understand why Cas has shifted. Jeremy is waving a gun around like a madman, Eva is behind.

Cas, still in her wolf form. I can just about see Cray’s tail telling me my mate is still with them too.

“What’s so funny?” Cas demands, I see hist nostrils flare, the wind has changed direction so he’s either

picked up on me or on Vince and Heath.

‘Rowan?‘ Cas’s voice comes over the Pack link as Jeremy starts to taunt Cas about others being

addicted within the Pack.

‘I’m here and Heath is watching Vince.‘ I tell him quickly, between the three of us we can take Jeremy

and Vince.

‘Mitch?‘ Cas asks me, his response is short and clipped but it’s hard to keep up talking and the Pack

“Not smelled him and Heath didn’t mention him.‘ Atlas shuffles himself to the side a mile from this view

point I can charge Jeremy without anything home in the way.

take over.

‘CAS Eva screams across the Pack link before I see a slate grey wolf jump behind Jeremy. I feel Atlas

shake himself as Jeremy is dragged backwards, looking around I see Selena has Vince pinned to the

floor so I go back to focusing on Jeremy.

Storm has managed to drag him backwards and is standing on his chest, the state grey wolf looks

massive as he towers over the whimpering man holding his bloody arm.

“Storm stop “I look around to see Eva running towards us completely naked, knowing how Cas feels

about people seeing his mate naked I make Atlas turn away quickly. “If you kill him then it’s done, he’s
