Chapter 50
The Stained Omega
Never a dull day.
(Fraction)
After showing Anna what an afternoon with Thomas in daycare can look like we go our separate ways.
She has Luna duties to take care of and I have my Alpha duties, donât get me wrong. Iâd love nothing
more than to stay in bed with Anna and be buried balls deep all day. After Thomas was born, me and
Anna became closer than ever, Thomas sort of glued us together in a way we just werenât before.
Anna has taken to her Luna duties like a duck to water. Thanks to her the pack is happier, healthier and
stronger than it has ever been. I have no doubt that sheâs worked some kind of Omega power over the
pack but honestly, I canât be mad about it. We have grown to such a size that I now need more warriors
to help protect the pack land. Anna suggested having the older kids come to the pack house once a
month so they can meet with the pack officers and get to know them. I already have four of them ready
to select to train as warriors. Never did I think of doing things this way but now I canât see a time where
we wonât.
Walking down to my office I pass Andrew who nods his head toward my office door, following him as I
take a seat behind my desk. watching with a smile as Andrew picks up Thoma sâs toy train and starts to
push the wheel around with his hands.
âWhatâs up?â I ask him.
âNot much, the training area is ready. The daycare is asking for more staff members and the clinic now
has a new nurse.â
âHowâs Leon fitting in?â I smile as I watch Andrew fidget in his chair.
âErm, yeah heâs fine,â heâs nervous, I smile wider. âI mean, heâs a good

âHmm OK. And the daycare? How many more staff?â I move on to spare him the embarrassment. I
knew he liked Leon the second he met. him but I doubt heâs admitted it to himself yet. He thinks ga y
shifters. donât get mates. I disagree.
âThey say three or six part timers.â Andrew has flipped his ever trusty note pad out and is reading his
notes.
âApproach the older kids, maybe some of them would be interested in helping out. I know Alice works
the bakery on a weekend, maybe she can do the daycare mid week?â I through the idea out.
âSure I will ask around.â Andrew says scribbling in his notepad.
âBusy?â I hear Anna ask over our link.
âNever too busy for you.â I respond.
âWant to come get Thomas with me?â I donât respond as she already knows my answer.
âRight, is that everythingâ?â I say getting up from my desk.
âFor now. Off to get Tommy?â I chuckle at this.
âDonât let Anna hear you call him that, she hates it.â We both laugh as we leave the office. Anna liked
calling Thomas. Tommy until one of the kids called him Tommy the tank engine and now she gives
anyone. who uses the nickname a death stare. Itâs quite comical actually, she thinks itâs all frightening
but itâs just funny. Still I play along, happy Luna, happy life after all.
(Anna)
âI agree, letâs meet tomorrow. Does around noon work for you?â I hear

Fraction say as I walk over to join him and William on the pavement. I nipped into the bakery for my
weekly goodies and somehow Fraction ended up chatting up a storm and showing off Thomas.
âWorks for me. Will this little chappy be joining us?â Williams asks. bending over to pinch Thom a sâs
cheek.
âProbably not, best let him have some time for fun before pressing Alpha duties on him.â They both
laugh as William bids Fraction. goodbye and heads off down the road.
âAll done, Little Wolf?â I nod at him as he takes my hand and starts to walk us down the street, we
watch as Thomas runs a few steps ahead. âThe pups are coming tonight.â
âDonât call them that, they are basically adults.â I scold him.
âBasically an adult, isnât an adult.â He laughs back.
As we get further down the main street I notice the park. âdo you think we have time for Thomas to
have a small play?â I ask just as we hear angry shouting from across the road.
âI donât want you here, you and the brats need to leave!â I never knew Mrs Jacob could be so loud. I
look over to see her shouting at Leonâs younger brother.
âYou go, Iâm going to see what I can do to help here.â Fraction says 1, he ruffles Thoma sâs hair and
runs across the street.
âShall we go on the swings?â I ask Thomas, he seems to take a moment to decide if he should follow
his father or come to the park. Apparently the allure of the swings is too much because he happily
spins around and leads the way to the park.
I hope Fraction doesnât have too hard of a time with Mrs Jacob, sheâs

old as hell but sheâs as sharp as a tack. Nothing gets past that old lady, sheâs the closest to a busy b*dy
the pack has. She knows everything and everyone, Fractions day is often filled with things Mrs Jacob
has either reported or done. Sheâs become worse since Leon joined the pack last year, he came to us
with two younger brothers following and a nursing degree under his belt. No one asked too many
questions. about where they came from, you could tell from looking at them that it was bad. Fraction
opened the pack to him and even introduced him to Doctor Lee, which led to him working at the clinic.
Mrs Jacob. seems to have a huge problem with Leon, I donât know if itâs because Leon is very feminine
or because not only do his two brothers live with him but so do three of the orphaned pups from the
pack.
Leon asked one day if he could take them in, Fraction was worried at first how he would manage but he
proved to us he could do it. He gets very little money from the pack, Fraction offered but Leon refused.
Since he took them in, none of those kids have missed a day of school or a medical appointment. The
man might be young but he knows what heâs doing. So I donât understand Mrs Jacobâs problem.
