Chapter 84
The Stained Omega
Changes.
(James)
Leaving my Alpha in a time of need goes against every fibre of my being, every nerve in my b*dy is
screaming at me to go back into the medical centre. I get it though, he needs to be with his son and his
son needs his mother, so itâs my job to collect her and bring her to him. Once I walk over to my car I
see Faye standing beside it in her little denim shorts and popping bubblegum. I sigh as I get closer to
her, I can almost feel the hostility rolling off her.
âGet off my car, Faye.â I say as I press the button to unlock it,
âYouâre going to get her, arenât you?â I can hear the anger behind her statement, she doesnât want
Anna on Pack land.
âYes. Iâm going to get the Alpha Heirâs mother because heâs badly hurt.. Now move out of the way or I
will run you down.â I tell her as I shove out of the way while opening the driver side door.
âShe canât come here, sheâs been banished.â I close my eyes and pray for patience before spinning
around and getting really close to her face.
âShe wasnât banished she asked to leave, she can be allowed back anytime the Alpha wills it and right
now? He wills it.â I watch in pleasure as her face goes ghostly white, âI suggest you pis s off because
you donât want to be here when I get back with Anna.â
I donât stick around to see if she leaves, I jump in my car and start driving towards the north boundary.
Iâm kind of ashamed at the pride I feel at finally telling Faye off, sheâs been asking for it for weeks and
today she just chose the wrong time to push my buttons. As I pull up to
1
the Pack boundary I know my day is about to go from bad to a downright nightmare. Anna isnât alone,
sheâs standing next to her little red car with a dark haired man, heâs leaning against the car and seems
to be whispering in Annaâs car.
âAlpha, sheâs not alone.â I tell Fraction over our link.
âWhat?â Fraction answers quickly.
âSheâs with a guy, a shifter from the smell of him.â Heâs not blocking himself well at the moment so I feel
the rage coming off him as I say this.
âJust get her here.â He tells me, before closing the link, I feel the walls he has erected in his mind slam
back up. He started blocking us well before Anna left but since she left itâs become worse and the walls
are stronger than ever. The only reason I have been able to reach him today is because of his worry for
Thomas.
(Anna)
James sits in the car for so long Iâm almost convinced he isnât going to get out. I feel Macâs hand on my
shoulder as I take a step towards the boundary, his hand stops me and I look back at him annoyed. He
shouldnât even be here but thanks to him taking up residence in my home he heard every word of my
conversation with Patrick. He insisted on coming, something about not walking into the lionâs den
alone.
âWhatâs taking him so long?â I ask Mac.
âYouâre here with a male he hasnât seen before, heâs probably checking with the Alpha.â I spin around
quickly so Iâm facing him.
âI told you not to come, if this stops me from getting to Thomas Iâm going to kick your a ss.â I try to
sound intimidating but Mac simply

throws his head back and laughs.
âSweetness, you couldnât beat your way out of a paper bag.â I pout at this because I know heâs not
wrong. âDonât worry, we are going to fix that.â Hearing a car door opening I turn around to see James
walking towards us, he looks good in his plain black t-shirt and jeans.
âAnna, you brought a friend.â James says once heâs an armâs length from me.
âMac this is James, James this is Mac. Can you take me to Thomas now?â I introduce them quickly,
Iâve already decided not to tell them Darryl sent him as I donât know who knows and who doesnât.
âFollow me in your car, and Anna?â He looks me dead in the evest while he speaks, âremember why
you are here and donât let your friends cause any problems.â He doesnât give me the chance to answer
before heâs turning around and heading back to his car. Turning back to my own car I see Mac is
already sitting in the driverâs seat so I open the passenger door and just sit back while Mac follows
Jamesâs SUV.
âNice guy.â Mac says as he moves the car.
âHe normally is. I guess this is the James rogues see,â I mumble. James is normally warm and kind to
me but this James was hard and distant.
Something tells me Iâm about to see a whole new side to the Pack. I look out of the window as Mac
drives us towards the medical centre. Iâve only been gone for a short amount of time but I can already
see so many changes. The streets were once filled with people milling around and talking and now I
see the odd person who seems to be running from one place to the next. No one is talking to anyone,
they all seem to be in their own little world. The parkâs grass is all lumpy and looks like someone has
driven a car over it. This makes me feel a little sad because I have so many happy memories of
Thomas in that park. All too soon and not soon enough we are pulling up in front of the medical

centre. I feel myself stiflen as I see Faye standing in front of the medical centre doors.
I watch as James gets out of his car and holds one finger up to me, asking me to wait. He heads over
to Faye and seems to speak to her.
âIs that her?â Mac asks me
âThatâs her, she is the bi tch Lama,â even I can hear the saltiness in my
Voice
âShe doesnât seem like much, a little chunky on the hips for laugh at this and look over at him. I see he

my taste.â I
âWhat do you think heâs telling her?â I ask Mac,
âYou canât hear them?â I shake my head no. âyouâre more disconnected to your wolf than I thought. Il
eâs coming back.â I watch as James heads towards the car and opens the door.
âCome on.â James says as I undo my belt and step out of the car. my eyes instantly focus on Fave.
Sheâs staring me down from her spot next to the medical centre doors. âDonât worry she wonât say
anything. She has her orders from the Alpha.â I nod at him as I follow him towards the doors, Mac gets
out of the door and catches up to me.
Faye watches us as we walk past her and into the medical centre, just as James said she doesnât say
anything to us. Although if looks could kill I would be on my as s and burning up. James walks us past
the reception desk with Alice manning the phones and leads us straight to the surgical floor. I know
Fraction is near because Winter starts becoming very active. I can feel her jumping around in my head,
dying to get her hands on her mate. The second we round the corner and I see Fraction sitting on one
of the cra ppy blue chairs all the breath in my lungs whooshes from my chest.

I knew seeing him again would be hard but knowing that I canât run over to him and have him hold me
is proving harder than I thought.
âYou brought a friend,â Fraction says as a way of hello.
âThis is Mac, he was there when Patrick called,â I tell him as I bow my head to the floor. Fraction
doesnât say anything else as he just looks at Mac. The two of them seem to have a silent conversation
before Fraction looks back towards the doors opposite us.
âDoctor Lee will come get us when we can see him.â Fraction says to the doors. I nod my head as I
take a seat in one of the blue chairs. I want to ask him what happened but I can almost taste the
tension in the air so I donât feel like I can. Mac sits next to me, heâs like this sentry standing by me to
keep all the bad stuff away.
