Chapter 171
You Are Mine Omega
Neil looked at Ryan with eyes filled with disbelief as he stared at him. He thought back to the night
of Glenâs birthday once again. He could remember how Allison hugged him and defended him. He
recalled the night of Ryanâs birthday when Ryan was okay until he
announced Ethanâs wedding announcement.
âDid she feel the same?â He asked his son with a cold voice.
When Ryan heard that, he laughed out loud. While he glanced at Allison, he took a sip from his
drink.
âI thought so. Butâ¦â He paused and smirked.
âHer faithfulness turned out to be unfaithful.â
Alpha Neil could not understand what to say. He was completely unaware of what was going
on around him.
âIâI-â
He stuttered for the first time as he lost his words. He tried and wanted to say something, but before
that, someone mind linked him.
He immediately stood up with wide eyes.
âEthan?â
He uttered it and turned to Ryan.
âWade just linked me. He said something happened to Ethan.â After saying that, he dashed off in
the direction of the garden area.
As Ryan saw every one of his family members, including Allison, head to the garden, he drained
another glass of liquid.
All the guests that were there appeared to be confused. They had no idea what was causing
everyone to rush in that direction.
Ryan got to his feet and started making his way toward the middle of the hall. Everyoneâs attention
was drawn to him immediately. Beta Max walked up next to him and said to others,
âLadies and gentlemen. Itâs nice to meet you all. I believe that the celebration is now over. I hope
that Alpha will recognize you when you visit our pack. I hope Alpha will see you all in our pack next
time. It is now time for us to leave. You can all depart at this time.â
The voice of one of the Alphas could be heard asking, âWhere is Alpha Ethan? He should stay to at
least see us off.â
Ryan arched his eyebrow. âWhy? Am I not enough for you?â
The Alpha gulped and shook his head. âI didnât mean that. Please donât take it that way. My sincere
apologies.â
Gamma Colin glared at everyone and said,
âYou all have duties in your packs. Go back safely before dawn. No one knows when you will
get in danger.â
After being given the warning, everyone looked at one another, nodded their heads, and exited the
pack house.
âI recalled, just like tonight, Ethanâs beta Wade instructed all the guests to leave that night.â Delta
Owen broke the silence to Beta Max and lifted his drink with a sly grin on his face.
Ryan snickered when he recalled that night. He cast a cursory look toward the staircase.
âRyan, will you go to see him?â Beta Max asked him about Ethan. His mate, Teresa, also went with
Allison to see Ethan in the garden.
âNo.â
âI think he is dead.â Gamma Colin said and dialed a number.
Ryan turned to him and said,
âYou all, except Max, go back to the Black Moon.â
Gamma Colin paused and frowned at him.
âThis was not the plan you have discussed with us.
âI changed the plan at the last moment.â
âBro.â
âJust go back, Colin. I will be back soon.â
Colin sighed and nodded at him. He looked around at the others and motioned for them to head for
the exit.
Vernon and Owen said to Ryan,
See
you soon.â
âHmm.â
Vernon, Owen, and Colin left the pack house to leave the pack.
Beta Max stared at Ryan, which he ignored completely.
Max did not say anything to him and saw him going upstairs.
Ryan walked toward a bedroom and stopped at the door.
He could hear sobs coming from the room. He twisted the doorknob and looked inside the
room.
A woman was crying on the couch. Her mascara was messed up because of her tears. Her
beautiful face turned pale.
She caught a glimpse of Ryan, who had only moments ago come into the room.
âRâRyan!â
She uttered and got on her feet.
He closed the door behind him and walked to her.
She rushed to him to hug him. Her hands wrapped around him tightly as she began to cry aloud.
He embraced her and then gently stroked her back while looking at the blank wall.
âIâ1 reject him.â She said and sobbed.
âYou did well, Elora.â
She shook her head and replied,
âI didnât want to.â
He frowned and grabbed her arms to move her away from him.
He then made his way to the couch and sat down.
She bowed her head in submission. When she afterward became aware of what she had just said
to him, she hastened to wipe her eyes.
He lit a cigarette and observed her.
âDidnât I ask you if you fell for him? Why did you lie?â He asked while inhaling smoke.
âIâIâ¦â
âStop stuttering like a weak woman. Did I turn you into a hybrid for behaving like this?â
âNo.â She shook her head.
âNo.â o
She approached him in a deliberate manner and kneeled down in front of him.
âAlphaâ
He stared at her. She was sitting close to his legs.
âIf you think you can use your body to please me, then you are wrong. On this day, you should
mourn and not think to give pleasure to others.â He let out coldly.
She ignored his remarks, rested her head on his left thigh, and then shed tears.
He did not push her. She sobbed, and her tears fell on his black pants.
He looked away from her. He placed his hand on her head and stroked her hair. As if he were
soothing her, she closed her eyes.
After a while, she mumbled,
âHe didnât know that I was a true hybrid. He will die, Alpha.â
His hand paused, and he replied,
âThen let him die.â
She raised her head and looked at him.
âAlpha, I know what he did with Allison was wrong. But she didnât die. She is alive.â
He blew out the smoke from his mouth and stared at the woman, who looked vulnerable to him.
âIf I hadnât gone to the forest, she would have died that night.â
She parted her lips in shock and averted her eyes from him.
He flickered the ash of the cigarette and said,
âHe thinks compensation means asking for an apology without experiencing anything. But thatâs not
how things work in my world.
He has to feel the same way that he made my woman feel.
No mercy for him.â
