Malachi's POV

The doctor looks at me for a second. "We were able to save her, as well. She has a strong

heartbeat.” The doctor says. Relief washes over me as I fall to my knees sobbing. Paul and Amelia

kneel on each side of me, and Amelia hugs me. "You saved her, Malachi," she says, smiling with

happy tears. I look up to the doctor to thank him when I realize what he just said.

"It's a Girl?" I question. The doctor smiles "It is very early to tell on the sonogram, but her blood test

tells us it's a girl." He says. "Thank you so much, Doctor!" I stand, hugging him a little tight. "Um...

Can't breathe!” He whispers, while patting my shoulder. "Oh, sorry, Doc," I declare, letting him go. I

notice him looking over my body for a moment. "You must work out a lot to be that strong,” He

claims. "You might want to run home and find a shirt you're going to have my waiting room flooded

by all the ladies drool," He laughs.

I turn to look behind me and see all the women are staring at me, and then I look down at my chest.

I had forgotten I was shirtless from shifting. "Yeah, Doc, I'll do that,” I tell him. "I'll come to get you

when she is ready to have visitors." He says and walks away.

Chloe POV

I wake up and my eyes are blurry. I look around frantically and realize I'm in a hospital. “How did I

get here?’ Then I feel so much pain and look down. "Ouch!!!l" I scream and a nurse rushes in. "Miss

Anderson! What's the matter?” She asks with worry on her face. "My baby?!" I ask with fear written

all over my face. "Miss, the baby, is perfectly fine, thanks to you. You saved the baby by turning to

the side when your attacker stabbed you.” She explains and I start to cry.

"Where is my fiancé?" I ask. "He is in the waiting area. He has been here the whole time. You have a

good one, and if you don't mind me saying he is a looker too, he had the entire waiting room in

awe." She says giggling. "Yeah, that would be him," I say, rolling my eyes. "I'll let them know you are

ready for visitors." She says, leaving.

I look up to the door opening, and I flinch; it must be a reflex now. Once I see Malachi's face, I get

the biggest smile. He comes to me, hugging me carefully, so he doesn't hurt me. I cup his face with

tears falling from his eyes. "Luna, I'm so..." I don't let him finish; I put my finger to his lip to quiet

him. "Don't... this was not your fault, and we are alive because of you," I tell him, caressing his cheek,

then I bring my hand to his intertwining our fingers.

Malachi smiles. "I can't wait to have you home and no more living alone. You will be moving in with

me," He demands. "I have to keep you safe. I will never let anyone hurt you again, Luna, I love you!"

He declares. "I will do whatever makes you feel better, Alpha,” I say, smiling and squeezing his hand.

He kisses my forehead and lays down beside me, cradling my belly. He brings his head to my

stomach. "I will always keep you and your mommy safe, my little princess,” Malachi whispers. "Wait

a minute! Princess?" I question He looks up to me.

"You don't know?" He asks, surprised. "Um... No," I reply. "Well shit, I'm sorry. I didn't know the

doctor hadn't told you yet," He apologizes. I get a huge smile. "We're having a girl!" I say excitedly.

Malachi smirks, then lays back down beside me, holding me while I fall asleep.

Six Months later

Now, it has been six months since Alaric attacked me, and I am finally getting back to my normal

life. I graduated with honors. Malachi and I are planning our wedding, and we're not far from

welcoming our baby girl. Oh, and I can't forget Amelia was right about Paul putting a baby inside

her. They are having a boy. Kali had her baby two weeks ago. She is so beautiful like her mom; Kali

named her Colette after my mom. Kali met a nice guy named Ryan, and they have been dating

around four months now. She is finally happy.

I am sitting at the island, and Amelia comes walking in with Paul at her heels. "Good morning,

Prego,” Amelia says laughing. "How is that even funny? You're pregnant too" I retort. "Oh yeah..."

She laughs. "You are such a dork," I laugh. Malachi walks in wearing only grey sweatpants with his

body glistening with sweat. He pulls the earphones out of his ears and grabs some coffee. He walks

over to me to press a kiss to my forehead.

"Good morning, my beautiful Luna, oh, and everyone else.” He smiles. "Thanks a lot for making us

feel special,” Paul Laughs. Malachi shrugs. I don't say anything. I just keep staring at his chiseled

body, and I want to jump him in the kitchen right now. He knows my hormones are crazy! Why the

hell is he going

to walk in like that? He catches me staring and I see a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Is everything

alright, Luna? You seem to have some drool falling from your lip," He laughs, running his thumb

along the corner of my mouth. "Shut up! Room Now!!" I demand. He gives me a lustful grin.

I stand heading for the room, but I don't even make it to the stairs before Malachi grabs me pulling

me into his office. Once we enter, he closes the door, pushing me to the wall while cupping my face

and pressing a passionate kiss to my lips. My hands roam over his whole body; I can't get enough of

him. I stop my hand on his bulge and he groans when I pull it out. I rub it slowly. "Oh damn, Luna!

He says in a low voice. "You shouldn't have walked in looking like that,” I say with a smirk. “I will

have to do it more often if this is what I get,” Malachi says, trailing his hands to my breast; he pulls

my shirt down to reveal one—licking my nipple softly making me whimper.

Malachi Lifts me, walking to his desk and sits me down on it, spreading my legs to fit himself

between them. I am wearing shorts, so he slides them to the side, inserting his finger inside me

slowly. He caresses my left breast while keeping rhythm with his fingers. I bring my hand to my clit

She mutters. "Oh, we aren't, I was just getting even for this morning,” I reply, laughing. "I hate you

sometimes,” she laughs. I grab my chest like she just shot me with hurt and start laughing "You girls

are so weird," Malachi says, laughing.

"You hear that, baby girl? Your daddy is being mean” I put my hand on my belly, turning to Malachi

He just laughs. Suddenly, a sharp pain rushes through me and I double over. Malachi quickly grabs

me. "Chloe what's wrong?", Malachi says, freaking out.
