The Alpha King’s Hated Slave Chapter 68
The Alpha King's Hated Slave
He squeezed his garment, his brows knitted in thought. âThe last time I saw little Remeta, she had herself cut open with a broken glass from the cup her mother used to bring water for her. She would have killed herself that day if I didnât have the two maids I went with, and her mother to restrain her.â
She gasped in horror. She didnât know that it was this bad for Remeta.
âThey were able to put her to sleep even as she kept mumbling; âno life, no bedâ, no life, no bedâ. She added, mama please just let me dieâ¦..â
âOh heavensâ¦â She covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes tearing up immediately.
âI never visited again. It broke me seeing that child that way. Baski was our nanny, Melia and I. She practically raised us, you know.â
âI didnât knowâ¦.â She whispered, her eyes watering.
âShe did. She gave birth to Remeta two months before we were taken into captivity. It was hard for herâ¦.for all of us. She helped me survived during those few months. I donât think King Cone wanted me to survive them, he fed me once in five days.â
Danika gasped in horror. She couldnât imagine that. How was he able to survive those times?
He must have seen the unasked question in her head and answered, âBaski would request for milk to feed her new born baby and the guards will provide it for her. Theyâll keep guard while she fed little Remeta. Afterwards, sheâll request to see me in the isolated cold cage King Cone locked me in.â
His eyes was far away. âThe guards check the few visitors that enters to make sure they donât carry anything like food or weapons for escape.â His lips curved to a side, âBut then, they keep forgetting that Baski is a breastfeeding mother.â
Her eyes widened, âSheâ¦.â
He nodded. âShe breastfed me for three good months.â
âOh Creatorâ¦.â Tenderness filled Danikaâs heart. She had always wondered how deeply Baski loves the king so wholeheartedly. She was a nanny to him and Princess Melia so many years years ago. And now thisâ¦.
Blue empty eyes searched her face. âI canât trade that woman and her child for anything. When Cone saw that I didnât die, he started a hell fire for me.â
âAnd ten years later, the hell fire hasnât burned completely, he took Remeta from her motherâ¦from meâ¦and damaged that little girl badly.â
Tears streamed down her eyes. She didnât try to hide it either.
Scrutinizing eyes still held hers, âAnd today, I stared at that girl and I saw traces of a girl she would have been if disaster didnt befall us all upon her birth. Bright, beautiful and so smartâ¦.â
âIt made me wonder, how Danikaâ¦.the only daughter of King Coneâ¦is able to reach into that girlâs tormented heart and soothe it?â
He added, âIs it possible that a devil can birth an angel? Or he birthed a devil whoâs pretending to be an angel?â

Vetta was having a beautiful day. Her visit to the healer of fertility was tiring but it was also successful.
The healer had given her a pill to swallow whenever she wants to have s****l pleasures with the king. She is so happy and also impatient.
When she came back from her journey, she called the maids and they bathed her and changed her clothes for her. She has the pill in her corset, she canât wait to meet with the king!
She will seduce him in every way possible tonight and she will pleasure him so greatly, he will forget about his wretched slave, Danika.
That sweet thought in mind, she walked out of her bedroom which is in the Courtesan Quarters. Sheâs the only person that lives in that part of the palace because sheâs the only mistress the king has.
Unlike other kings that has more than 30 mistresses. It also makes her happy and it makes her feel special.
She walked past the Servants Quarters to see the guards carrying things from Danikaâs bedroom. She paused in thought.
Does it mean that the king is throwing her out? Is the king sending her back to the cage where she belongs? The cage for filthy slaves?
Just the thought left her giddy with excitement. Aaahâ¦.so many to be happy about on this noon day.
The happiness quickly left her face when she entered the Royal Chambers to see the guards carrying her belongings to the sacred bedroom.
Sheâd always referred to that bedroom as the sacred bedroom because no one is ever allowed in there. No one at all.
She walked closer and called one of the guards. She needed to know whatâs happening.
âYou! Come here!â She ordered.
The guard ran towards her. âYes, Mistress?â
âWhatâs going on here?â
âThe king gave orders that the slave princessâs belongings should be moved to this bedroom. She will be living in this bedroom from now on.â
Vetta was very sure she didnât hear this man right. âWhat did you just say!?â
He repeated himself.
A hot lash of anger, pain and jealousy whipped through Vetta so hard, it almost drove her to her knees.
No! There is no way this is true!
She sent the guard away and started towards the Kingâs Chambers. There is just NO WAY this is true!!
