Andrew did not ask Isabella why she was with Clayton. He told her the dietary details for Clayton’s recuperation. Isabella jotted them down and placed the note on the fridge.

Andrew shook his head and asked Weston and Kayson, “What has Clayton done? How is he so popular with women?”

Isabella blushed.

Kayson grinned. “Dr. Maguire, our boss saved the earth in his past life,” he replied.

Andrew and Isabella were speechless at the response. Andrew nodded. “I don’t know if he had saved the earth or not. What I know is that you

guys are so shameless,” he said.

Kayson smiled again and said, “Thanks for the compliment, Dr. Maguire.”

Andrew ignored him and turned to Isabella. “Be careful. There’s something wrong with these people. Don’t get corrupted by them,” he

warned.

She did not know what to say anymore.

Andrew was about to leave when he turned back to her. “Try talking to Gwen. Ask her to visit Professor Carey. I think he’s not so upset. anymore,” he suggested.

Isabella nodded repeatedly. “Gwen is shooting a new drama. When she finishes shooting, I promise to accompany her home to ask forgiveness from Mr. Carey,” she said.

Andrew was surprised and shook his head gently. “If you need my help, just let me know,” he said.

“Thank you, Andrew,” Isabella replied obediently.

After seeing Andrew off, she turned to look at Johnny, Kayson and Weston.

Kayson knew he was in the wrong and hurriedly explained, “Mrs. Murray, Boss arrived the night before yesterday. He lost a lot of blood due to his severe injury, so he didn’t dare to tell you. He did hear your call yesterday. He was afraid of worrying you, so he promised to come back to see you.”

Isabella was so shocked that she fell onto the carpet.

Isabella flushed. Fortunately, the room was dim.

She ignored him while getting up awkwardly. Then she put her hand on his forehead. “Andrew instructed me to check if you have a fever,” she said.

He thought that Isabella would like the Maguire family for sure. People like them who had never felt the warmth of the family would love the Maguire family.

“Edmund said his parents will visit me when they’re back, Clayton, tell me about the Maguire family,” Isabella said. She had mixed feelings. She was looking forward to hearing about them but felt a bit cowardly. She wanted more memories of Irina, but she could not face the fact that she lost her memories.

Clayton’s gaze was gentle. He said, “Mr. Maguire has four sons and a daughter. The eldest couple are fashion designers with their own company. The second couple are interior designers who also run their own businesses. The third couple are university professors. The fourth couple are accountants and work for Maguire Group. His daughter is very capable and holds a high position in Maguire Group. His son–in–law is a doctor,”

“Wow, their family is so open–minded. Every child can do what they like,” Isabella commented. She instantly had a good impression of the Maguire family.

Even the children of the Winslow family majored in business, Isabella was the odd one out as she was a computer science major. Yvonne, Zachary, and Megan all majored in business administration so that they could work under their family business. It was not easy for the Maguire family to do that.

Clayton chuckled. “They can do what they want because Mr. Maguire was very capable back then and didn’t need their help. Later, when he got old, he needed a successor, so his grandchildren are not so lucky,” he said.

“Do you mean Edmund and Victor?” she asked. Andrew was obviously not among them because he became a doctor.

Clayton nodded and smiled. “Mr. Maguire has deliberately trained Edmund and Victor since childhood. Besides, he thinks it’s enough to have two grandchildren to take care of his business. Others just need to follow their interests, so Victor always feels that he is forced into business. If he was the third child, he may have avoided this path,” he said.

Clayton changed the subject and asked, “Didn’t you say that you’re going to see Ms. Carey today?”

“Oh no. I’ve forgotten about it,” Isabella uttered. She went to get her phone. She had intended to ask Clayton how he got injured just now, but it slipped her mind.

Isabella sat down again with her phone. She put an extra pillow for Clayton so that he could chat conveniently. After some thought, she moved her laptop to the bedside as well.

“If you want to do something. I’ll help you,” Isabella offered as she checked the news on her phone.

She wanted to see if there was any news about Gwendolyn.

Isabella handed over the phone, and they read the news together.

“They’ve gone too far! This is slander!” Isabella fumed. She was outraged.

Gwendolyn chuckled. “Calm down, Isabella, I’ve been prepared to be slandered since the day I worked in the entertainment industry. It’s just that things are getting a bit out of hand this time. Steven is already on it. Tiana and I are at home. We’re just fine. As for you, please don’t come here. The reporters are everywhere. You are inexperienced.
