“What is this?” Li Tianyan asked as he lifted the quilt and sat on the bed, staring at the jade pendant in Cheng Qi’s hand.

“I got this from Madam Cheng when I went to Cheng Mansion today.” Cheng Qi turned over and laid halfway on Li Tianyan’s chest, recounting his conversation with Madam Cheng in detail.
