Alpha's Cursed Luna

ELEANOR

"Z-ZEKE?!" My hand shot up to cover my mouth as I batted my eyelashes at him one more time.

Utter shock and disbelief swept through me, making me lose balance and almost tripping to the

floor.

Had it not been for Zeke who dashed his arms out to catch me when I tripped, my head would have

already hit the hard surface with a painful thud

"Woah, easy there.” He chuckled, helping me get back up on my feet.

I didn't take my eyes off him even as he took several steps back, creating a decent gap between us.

“I...It's been years." I lowered my head, suddenly feeling embarrassed to not have been able to

remember him at our first meeting in the Winder's dinner.

So Zeke is an alpha..

When I first met him months after that night, I always thought he was a rogue. The fact that he is

indeed an alpha explains why he has such a strong scent, much like Alexander's.

Since I never saw his human form, I was hardly able to recognize him as the same wolf who saved

me from being raped years back. It happened months after that twisted night, and I woke up feeling

as though I had been run over by a ten-wheel truck. When I looked up, I saw a group of unmated

males hovering above me. Their eyes visibly driven with insatiable lust. They made one look at me

and I instantly felt like my clothes were being stripped off my body. I couldn't move, it scared me.

Because of their scents, it was easy to determine which pack they came from.

My pack.

A massive, nightshade black wolf had jumped out of the bushes that same night and fought against

them. He saved my innocence, but most importantly...he saved my life.

Week after week, I'd meet him in the forest. On the same spot he left me before he ran off towards

the direction where he came from. I always expected him to shift into his wolf form, however not

once did he show his human side to me. Nevertheless, I enjoyed simply having his company, and

having someone to listen to my stories whenever my parents were busy taking care of pack matters.

Or at times when I have finished doing all my chores as the pack slave, unofficially.

I would lay my back on his thick, soft fur until I fell asleep. Whilst he would make continuous,

purring sounds that always gave me a feeling of comfort and peace. Things that I never experienced

in anyone else until I met...Alexander.

The image of his incredibly handsome face popped up in my head. I squeeze my eyes shut wanting

to erase the image of him inside my mind.

No, I can't be thinking of him right now. I couldn't.

"So beautiful...” I hear Ezekiel mutter under his breath, pulling my attention back at his amused face

staring down at me in a look of admiration and awe. My face flushed, clearly not enjoying the

attention he’s giving just because of my lack of clothing.

One strip and I'd be standing here in front of him, naked.

His words, I heard them well and clear, yet I told myself repeatedly he could be talking about

anything but me right now.

His eyes resembled that of his wolf's that became my only escape route.

Unfortunately, when Mike sniffed him out of me one day, he threatened to send a search party to

kill him. He gave me a good beating and locked me up in my room. No food or water for three days

until he opened the door and asked me who he was time and time again. I wasn't lying when I said I

didn't know his full name, because he never uttered a word and I only chose to call him Zeke back

then.

It's a coincidence his name turned out to be Ezekiel.

I raised my chin, meeting his intense gaze that targeted me.

“Thank you... for saving me.” I mutter, though sincere.

“Twice?” The corner of his lip curved upwards, forming a smug smile. I stared back at him amused,

feeling as though this isn't the first time he had smiled smugly at me.

I nodded my head, chuckling lightly when I notice dribs of water falling from the end of my damp

hair. Making me remember I'm still standing fully naked in someone else's bathroom.

“I'm so sorry, Coby must have taken me to the wrong room.. I'll go now,” Whipping around, I take a

step forward and was about to turn on my heel when I felt his hand suddenly land on one of my

shoulders. My body froze. Heart hammering wildly against my chest.

"Z-Zeke?"

“Stay.” His voice calm, almost soothing if it weren't for the word he'd just chosen to say.

Pursing my lips into a thin line, I let him slowly turn me around. His glistening eyes met mine and I

was unable to pull myself away from his gaze, growing more and more intense every passing

second.

All havoc wreaked when he suddenly leaned his face down too dangerously close to my lips, making

me recoil instinctively just feeling the warmth of his breath and his lips graze the tip of my nose

unexpectedly. His palm went up to the back of my neck, pulling me closer to his face, which then

caused a shocked gasp escape my lips as I shot my eyes up to his green eyes.

“NO! Alex—"

I brought my hand to his chest then pushed him hard as I could. I gasped, lifting one palm over my

lips to stop myself from calling out his name.

Although his body didn't move a single inch from his spot, he went perfectly still for a few seconds.

Slowly, I feel his grip on my neck loosen, letting me go before looking down at me with a hurt

expression in his eyes.

The towel wrapped around me came loose and I quickly grabbed the top fabric to pull it back

together. Heat then rushed to my entire face when I realized it almost came undone in front of him.

Even though I knew him in the past years, seeing the human side of him just now makes me feel as

if 1 don't know him at all.

"You love him, don't you?" He asked, his deep, gruff voice sounded firm and deadly, as though one

wrong move could send me over to the brink of death.

My brows furrowed closely together. I took a step backwards intending to get away from him for

some reason.

I parted my lips, but no words came out of my parched throat as I held his gaze hesitantly, piercing

right through me while my body stilled. I bit my lip, my eyes dropping to the tiled floor.

Silence began to envelope us, and just when I felt ready to give him an answer, I felt his hand

cupping my chin. His soft touch instantly awakened the longing I always had for his comfort,

reminding me of who he was. My savior, and friend.

He lifted my chin, forcing our eyes to meet one more time when I felt his lips crash right into mine.
