Alpha's Cursed Luna

ELEANOR

Fear immediately slithers across my skin as I watch Alex launch at Ezekiel who had just kicked

himself out of the shower with rage burning in his shimmering golden eyes.

He was not himself.

His massive black and white wolf pounced on the ground before jumping straight towards Ezekiel

who glanced up instinctively at Alex in mid-air. Seeing he was just about to land, I pushed Ezekiel on

his shoulders, practically shoving him out of Alex's reach. His wolf snarled before attempting to claw

at Ezekiel's face.

Luckily, I managed to get him out of the way before his pointed claws even touch his skin. I jumped

back, my heel crashing onto the sculpture right behind me, whimpering as the pain shot throughout

my whole body in a single flash.

I gasped, watching wide-eyed as Alex's wolf crashed straight into the wall with a piercing thud.

"Alex!" I shouted, but the sound of his name didn’t seem to make his wolf turn nor flinch as if my

voice couldn't reach him no matter how loud I screamed.

He lets out a thunderous growl that shook the earth beneath us and caused my body to tremble in

utter trepidation, watching as Alex quickly recovered from the impact and snarls menacingly once

again.

Bloodlust marred his handsome face as he stepped backwards only to jump into him yet again.

Mouth agape, I jerked in my position, watching Ezekiel instantly shift before Alex could pounce at

his face.

The next thing I know, there was thrashing, gnawing, snarling, and growling. The two large beasts

wrestled madly like the animals they were, until both fell to the ground still pinning each other with

their incredible strengths.

Alexander is picking a fight on another pack's territory!

Not long after, a great deal of warriors suddenly appeared and surrounded the area. A

Blood splattered across their fur, making me cover my mouth with my palm and stand dumbstruck

at what was going on before me. Elijah immediately sprung to action. Shifting into his massive

brown wolf, he leapt and forced himself in between them.

Elijah whirls around, facing Alex when I saw his eyes glow as if they were communicating through

mind link. Ezekiel growls lowly behind him, bracing himself and lowering his body to the ground.

Ready to pounce at any moment.

From the corner of my eye, I saw another wolf growling just behind him. It was a huge, brown wolf. I

took one look at her striking green eyes and knew instantly it was Elijah. On his left was a

magnificent gray wolf with sparkling gray eyes, reminding me of Linda, while on his left was

Veronyka with his arms crossed in front of her, glaring daggers at me. I squinted, holding her gaze

feeling guilty all of a sudden.

I feel my heart thumping stronger and louder against my chest. Linda's words of warning comes

flooding back into my mind like an aftermath of a heavy storm.

I hear Ezekiel let out a fierce growl that snatched my attention away from the magnificent gray wolf

who looked much like Linda. His back arched into a defensive stance, pinning his eyes directly at

Alex who exuded a dominant aura about them

Elijah's wolf whimpers as though telling Alex to calm down.

Slowly, the extreme rage burning in his eyes disappeared whilst Elijah stood firm as a rock in

between them. Soon, I notice his breathing become more relaxed, and he closes his eyes

momentarily. After a time, he opened them before glancing over to me.

My body stiffened under his intense gaze, but I knew I had to act unaffected. If I don't, I'll never be

able to leave his side.

Seeing how he just attacked another wolf in front of me only hardened my resolve and forced me to

finalize my decision.

My decision to truly set him free.

Ares whimpered at the thought.

'Are you saying..."

'Yes, Ares." I whispered back.

She gasps and I can feel her retreat slowly to the shadows of my mind. Her whimpers heard subtly

from the distance.

I sigh, lifting up my chin. Only to see Alex standing right in front of me. Looking at me straight in

the eye.

I could see the look of pain and betrayal flaming through his cerulean blue eyes as he stared down

at my appearance.

My brows furrowed at first, when I made myself glance at Ezekiel who'd shifted into his wolf.

Realization struck me, seeing his wet body fresh from the shower just like I am in this very moment.

My eyes darted back to Alex whose jaw was tightly clenched and gaze dark as the stygian night.

Though I didn't do anything wrong, I feel my own guilt suddenly wash over me like a whole bucket

of ice cold water, and I shiver.

Right now, I could feel these people's scrutinizing gaze as they bore holes into me. A crowd is

gathering all around us.

"Leave us!" Alex commands, exuding an incredibly strong power of dominance to every single

member of the crowd. The next second, they scurried away.. Some deliberately moved slower just to

take one more peek at my mate's hansome face, looking directly at me.

Gratefully, they were considerate enough to hand Alex and the others a robe after they'd shifted

back into their human forms., and before they left us to ourselves at the front porch. Vera kept close

to Elijah’s side, leaning her breast close to one of his arms which neither seemed to amuse nor

affect Elijah in any way. He just stood there, waiting for Alex's next command.

I squeezed my fists before fixing my gaze on Alex's darkened face, making me gulp and wonder if I

am strong enough to watch him as I utter the words.

"Why did you come here?"

He doesn't say anything, and after a few seconds I wondered what was going on in that mind of his.

Still, there was no response.

I bite my lip, and his eyes seemed to have caught the movement on my lips as I notice his body

stiffen for a moment.

Just then, he looked at me straight in the eye and spoke.

"I came for you, my love.” He raises his hand, tracing two fingers on my jawline down my chin

Soon I could hear women from the crowd whispering amongst themselves. Some adoring how

romantic he can be and some wishing to the goddess that they were actually me.

I sneered.

Believe me, you won't. Saying that to myself as I suck in a sharp breath.

I turn my head away, pulling my face off his hand. It left a tingling sensation on my face when his

fingers so tauntingly grazed my skin. I shiver.

He furrows his brows, disappointment flashing in his eyes when I recoiled from his touch. Only he

doesn't know how my skin burns in pleasure every single time he puts a finger on me.

Suddenly, I recall the other night when he fucked me with his fingers, pleasuring me until I could no

longer feel my legs.

Heat rushes to my face and I grit my teeth.

This is so inappropriate.

With that, I clench my fists, desperately trying to erase those images of him that night, so I could

instead focus on the most important part which will certainly help both him and me.

"You shouldn't have come." I mutter.

He moves closer and was about to squeeze both my arms but I quickly evaded his large hands

reaching over to me. He froze then stares right at my face.

"Eleanor, what are you--"

"Stay away!"l wrap my hands around my arms before turning my back towards him, not wanting to

see the look on his face when I say those words.

It will hurt, I know. But nothing will bring more pain to a werewolf more than the despicable feeling

of guilt mixed with serious pain from causing the death of his own fated mate. In my case, that's

exactly what I fear.
