Chapter 22
Triplet Mommy’s Triumphant Return
Chapter 22
They came to a private restaurant.
After sitting down, Melanie found that there were few people here and couldnât help feeling suspicious.
She thought. âItâs lunchtime at noon, but there are only a few people in such a big restaurant.â
A waiter greeted them affably as soon as he saw Ryan.
Melanie observed Ryan coldly and was a little surprised by his will.
Ryan changed from the Smith familyâs successor to a useless and lame waste, and his fiancée even cheated on him. If it were some ordinary person, he would have become really decadent.
But Ryan seemed to be unaffected at all. He still looked arrogant.
âMela, this place is good, isnât it?â
While waiting for the dishes, Ryan talked to Melanie again.
Melanie was expressionless.
âMr. Smith, let me repeat it again. Please call me Ms. Robertson, Weâre not close, after all.â
Ryan was stunned for a second.
âAlright, Ms. Robertson. Letâs have lunch first. I believe that we will definitely become friends after
this meal.â
âWeâll know that afterward. Mr. Smith, what do you want to talk with me today?â
Ryan smiled.
âMs. Robertson, donât overthink. I just want to have lunch with you today. After all, we havenât seen each other for seven years.
âYouâre wrong, Mr. Smith. We havenât met each other seven years ago.
âBut Iâve seen you, Ms. Robertson. If it werenât for that incident⦠Ahem. You would have been my fiancée.
âI donât think so.â
Melanie sneered.
âBut everything is different now.â
Ryan ignored Melanieâs sneer.
Ryan held a glass in one hand, shook the scarlet wine in it and smiled confidently.
âYou might havenât heard that your father has accepted 10 million dollars from my father and agreed to our marriage.â
Hearing this, Angie wanted to smack the table and curse at once.
Melanie grabbed Angieâs hand and sneered.
âMr. Smith, have you forgotten that he has already renounced me seven years ago? Weâre complete strangers now. He canât control me to do anything.â
âReally?â
Ryan smiled and said, âBut he said you would listen to him.â
âSo ridiculous. Itâs common for people to become crazy when they get old. Donât take it seriously, Mr. Smith.â
Melanie sneered and tried to suppress her anger.
âBut what if heâs not crazy?â
Ryan took a sip of wine leisurely and then lowered his voice.
âMs. Robertson, your mother passed away at a young age. Donât you want to know the secret behind
it?â
Hearing this, Melanieâs expression changed at once. âWhat do you know?â
Ryan stared at Melanie with unhidden desire in his eyes.
âIâll tell you if you become my woman.â
Angie couldnât stand it anymore. She grabbed the glass and poured the wine on Ryanâs face.
âHow dare you?!â
Suddenly, a sweet voice sounded.
âMelanie, are you dating Ryan?â
Hearing this voice, Melanie knew that it was definitely her dear sister Vanessa.
As expected, Vanessa held Williamâs arm and came over in a red dress.
âMelanie, itâs been so long since you came back. We havenât had a talk before. How about coming home and having dinner tonight?â
Vanessa smiled coquettishly. Most of her body was clinging to Williamâs body.
Melanie felt sick at the voice and the harsh red dress.
âNo need.â
Chapter 22
âAlas, Melanie. I havenât introduced William to you.â
Vanessa smiled.
âIâm relieved to see you get along well with Ryan, Melanie. When you marry into the Smith family, we can be together again.â
Watching Vanessaâs scarlet lips moving, Melanie felt her mind went blank.
She couldnât see things clearly.
âShut up, bitch. When did you see Melanie get along well with this jerk?â
Angie became really aggressive when she got angry.
âIâve heard that you are a famous slut in Beloris. Iâm afraid Mr. William Smith is not enough for you. Why donât you marry the two brothers together? Thereâs an engagement, anyway.â
Vanessa covered her face and pretended to cry.
âHow⦠How dare you insult me?
âMelanie, are you gonna watch me being bullied?â
Melanie sneered.
âYouâre wrong. This is not an insult. Itâs the truth. As the saying goes, good advice is harsh to the ear. I think you can do as the advise, Ms. Robertson.â
Vanessa forced out a few tears.
âHow can you do that, Melanie?
âWeâre sisters who grew up together.â
âWe were already no longer sisters seven years ago, and weâll never be sisters afterward. Donât say that again. I donât have a sister like you.â
After saying that, Melanie grabbed Angie and was about to leave.
But William shouted, âHow dare you wanna leave after scolding my people?!â
Then William slapped three times.
Melanie had a bad feeling.
The next second, Angie stood in front of Melanie to protect her.
âBeloris is not even qualified to get our Thomas familyâs attention.â Angie sneered. âLet me see what
you wanna do.â
âYouâll find out soon!â
William sneered.
Suddenly, a rumble sounded in the restaurant. This ordinary restaurant suddenly changed.
Only then did Angie realize that this restaurant was only a part of this floor.
It was isolated from the floor and had no windows.
All walls were fitted with transparent mirrors.
Behind a mirror, Angie clearly saw several men and women doing something intimate.
And they were surrounded by cameras.
Although Melanie couldnât see, she had excellent hearing.
Melanie heard Angieâs exclamation, and she also knew what those strange sounds meant.
âWell, the Thomas family doesnât have such beautiful scenery, does it?â
William was proud of their astonishment, laughed wildly and said, âIâll teach you how to organize your words later.â
âI didnât expect the Smith family to be so dirty and the media tycoon to be such a bastard.â
Angie sneered and then grabbed Melanieâs arm more tightly.
âItâs fine to let you know. You canât escape, anyway!â
William smiled grimly and then turned to look at Ryan.
âRyan, youâre awesome. You brought two beauties here at once. Do you still want Ms. Robertson?â
âOf course. Why not?â
Ryan suddenly pushed the wheelchair away and stood. up.
Angie was shocked and said, âYou⦠Youâre not name!â
Hearing this, Ryan burst into laughter.
âSee, William? When I pretend to be lame, the beauties are completely unguarded.
âBeauties generally sympathize with the weak and have no resistance.â
âRyan, youâre better at tricking people. I just want some practical benefits.â
William glanced at Angie with an obscene expression.
âAlright, William. I even risk my reputation to let you have fun. Arenât you satisfied enough?â
The two of them looked at each other and then burst into laughter.
