Chapter 15

No Thank You...

Taylor's POV

As the days came and went, I became more and more comfortable around the triplets and their family. They were such a live and happy bunch.

Cassie was a little ray of sunshine. Not. That girl was wild. Her idea of fun was rock climbing, climbing tree's, and anything that could lead to death.

I never do it with her I just watch, but the triplets wouldn't let me either. Everytime I went somewhere with Cassie, they gave her clear rules and instructions about my safety and what I can and cannot do.

I can finally move a lot more, the bruises are fading and everything is healing.

The triplets confronted me about it a few days ago, that was the scariest moment in my life.

*Flashback*

"Taylor, Love?"

"Hm?" I ask, kicking my legs back in forth on the bench we were sitting on in the garden.

Corey grabbed my chin and gently tilted my face towards his.

"We need to talk about something. But this time, you can't avoid it. We. Need. The. Truth."

"We can't protect you if you don't tell us what's happening." Chance adds.

"W-what do you need t-to know?" I grew nervous. What if they leave me? What if they found out how broken I am? What if.

I was currently sitting on Chance's lap with Chase and Corey sitting beside us.

"Taylor, baby, tell us about your scars. Tell us about your bruises." Chase started, seriously.

"U-Uhm... I don't know w-what you mean?"

It came out as more of a question that a statement. That certainly didn't help my case.

"Don't."

"Lie."

"To."

"Us."

They growled and I whimpered.

"Tell us love. This is important."

Their faces were serious and no hint of playfulness or amusement. Just dead serious.

"Things happened." My response was short and so was their patience.

"What 'things' happened?"

"Bad things."

"Darling, we aren't going to be able to help if you aren't going to cooperate and tell us."

"D-Do you really n-not know j-just from l-looking at me s-skin?" I asked on the verge of tears.

"Sunflower, we need you to tell us yourself."

"I don't w-want t-to remember."

"I know it hurts, love. If we know what happened, we can end it and you never have to think about it again."

"E-ever?"

"Ever."

"I-It started long before I-I can remember."

*End of flashback*

That was one of the most stressful moments of my life. Talking through my past, my family, my life.

Tears were shed. A lot of tears. The triplets also made sure to show extra affection and love. That kind of made me feel better, knowing that these three would love me until the end of the world. It felt nice.

Right now, I am watching Cassie race the triplets across the training ground. I hate to admit it but, the triplets are getting their asses kicked by a 14 year old. It hilarious.

They thought they could prove themselves to me by challenging Cassie but they are so cute trying to catch up. I don't even think Cassie is running full speed.

I sit on the benches trying to keep myself from falling on the ground from laughter. I can barely breathe and my tummy aches from laughing so hard. I think I'm building ab muscles by laughing so much.

Cassie crosses the finish line and a few long seconds after, so does Chance, then Corey, then Chase.

They make their way over to me, all the triplets faces were stained red, either with embarrassment, exhaustion, or both.

Probably both.

"You were so cute chasing desperately after your sister who's almost 4 years younger than you." I tease and their ears turn pick.

"Nice one, Tay." Cassie high fives me and gulps down the water bottle she brought along.

"Shush, darling." Chance hugged me and I squealed and pushed him off.

"Ew! Your sweaty and gross!"

"Say that again, darling. I date you." He jokingly threatened, mischief gleaming in his eyes.

Soon, all of them were hugging me and I didn't know if I should giggle or run.

I loved their hugs, but they are nasty right now.

"No! You get cuddles AFTER you shower. Right now you all smell like you slept in a barn."

"Now that's insulting to barn animals, sunflower."

"I don't care. You smell. Go shower." I made that finally and they all sighed. I won.

I have all them wrapped around my skinny little finger and they know it. The joys of being cute and adorable.

"What about Cas? She's sweaty too!" Corey complained and I looked over to Cassie.

"She looks fine to me."

The triplets glared at her and she just smiled.

"Tay-tay?" She said in a baby voice. "Can I have a hug pwease."

"Aww! Of course Cas-cas! Come here!"

Cassie and I hugged and although she was all sweaty and gross as well, I just wanted to mess with the triplets.

"What about us, baby? Can't we have hugs? Pweaseeeeeeee?" Corey mimicked Cassie's tone and I pretended to think about it.

"Hm... No."

"Meanie!" Chase called out.

"I'm wounded." I laughed and Cassie and I started walking back to the pack house, leaving them to clean up.

"You're evil. I love it." Cas and I giggled and we walked up the stairs. Her room was right next to ours and I went into mine so I could shower. I'm covered in the nasty skin water.

I took a well deserved shower, taking my precious time washing my hair and body.

I ran the washcloth over my arms and torso, slowly getting lost in thought.

I thought about everything.

Chase, Corey, Chance, Cassie, Erik, Fynn, my new life, everything I've done so far, and sadly, my old life.

I think about all the things that happens before my beautiful mates saved me.

I haven't been back to school yet, we haven't faced my 'father' yet, we are trying to find out my old pack, we are trying to find my brother, we have so many projects going on, just for me. It gets me overjoyed when the triplets get so excited about helping me. Their goofy grins, their positive attitudes, even when I want to quit, they won't let me. They explain why they won't let me as well. I love them for that. I plan to tell them I love them soon. I want the first time I say it to be special.

"Are you done thinking over there, love?"

I jumped at the voice and hid myself behind the washcloth. I looked up and saw all three of them smirking at me.

"Get out! I'm trying to shower!"

"We did try and wait for you to get done, but you were taking so long. We had to make sure our little baby was alright."

"I'm great! Now get out!"

"Or we could join you." Corey said, stripping out of his workout clothes.

Chance and Chase did the same and soon I was facing 3 naked triplets. Dammit they are sexy as hell.

I pry my eyes away and look down. Someone was getting excited and it was making everything worse.

My cheeks were burning as the triplets entered the humongous shower and surprisingly, didn't try anything sexual. They washed my back, my shoulders, my face, they were so tender and their hands were so smooth gliding across my skin. It felt like heaven.

"You are perfect, darling."

(Hehehe only one person will understand the joke hidden in the last line. 😂)
