Chapter 105 To be precise, Aiden felt both scared and guilty before Hailey. He stole one glance at her.

Hailey and Anna arrived at the lounge on the sixth floor. Henry had been waiting there for a long time.

After a nod at Hailey, Anna left the lounge. Hailey and Henry were alone now, and they began a small chat.

Hailey didn’t talk about work till Anna served the coffee. The talk lasted for the whole afternoon.

Henry had lived in seclusion for years, but he was still an expert in his field. He taught Hailey a lot that afternoon.

Hailey held a meeting with her team right after Henry signed the contract.

The script was produced by the Dalton Group, so Hailey’s team was the producer. Each team member had a different task.

As a rookie, Hailey had a rough idea of her job and needed advice from the professionals. She was a quick learner, smart and studious.

Henry had been chosen to be the director, and Hailey put him in charge of completing the production team.

Henry had his crew, but its members had dispersed for his seclusion. Now, it was time for him to gather them again.

The drama could be finished in Hollywood and didn’t have an exterior shoot. For a good drama, the script was as important as the expertise of the protagonists.

With a good script, the drama wouldn’t fail the audience. Hailey had chosen the soft and mature Miles and the aloof and domineering Trix to be the protagonists.

Miles and Trix had never made a blunder in important events, and their appearances were outstanding even in showbiz. They were rising and had little dirt, so they had a lot of fans.

Hailey spent a lot of money on cooperation with Grace Black whose team was famous for the impressive looks for actors and actresses. Till now, Grace’s team didn’t have a failure.

All the problems were solved that day. The meeting didn’t end till 8 PM.

With Hailey included, many members of the team were new to their jobs. Like her, they were motivated to work hard for a perfect drama.

It was already 8 PM. The whole team was exhausted, but there was excitement in their eyes.

Hailey then treated the whole team to dine in a restaurant nearby.

Tomorrow, she would discuss the script with the screenwriters. On the way home, she told the cab driver to go to Riverside Estate and then gave Thomas a call.

Shortly after Hailey got out of the taxi, she saw Raphael who looked young in casual clothes and with slightly wild hair. “Why are you here?” she asked.

Raphael answered with a smile. “Didn’t you receive my message? I bought an apartment here. I now live below you. It is getting late, but you haven’t come home yet. Out of worry, I was waiting for you here.”

Hailey asked with surprise, “Why did you know the building where my apartment is? And the floor?”

“I asked the last owner of my apartment. He shouldn’t have told me that. He did perhaps because I don’t look like a bad man, Raphael responded with a smile.

Hailey felt speechless. She couldn’t help but suspect that Raphael was a bad man, and that explained why he kept pestering her.

“Did you just come back from work? Did you have dinner? I have some at my place,” Raphael asked.

Hailey shook her head as she said, “No, thanks. Goodnight.”

“Won’t you celebrate with me for my moving in?” Raphael lowered his head and said, “You are my only friend in this city.”

Instantly, Hailey became hesitant. She then said, “Mr. Park, you can move in with my grandfather. He likes you very much, so he won’t mind your long stay under his roof. It will save you the trouble of the celebration.”

Raphael sighed. “Forget it. You must be tired. Goodnight.” His consideration baffled Hailey, and she began to recall whether she had been rude.

The tired Hailey thought for a moment. She took a deep breath before she said, “I’m sorry for being rude, Mr. Park. The celebration for your moving in is justifiable.”

“Never mind. Have an early night if you are tired.” Raphael sounded polite and gentle. “My bad. I shouldn’t have bothered you with my celebration after you had a long day.”

Regret got Hailey. “I’ll treat you to dinner tomorrow, as the celebration for your moving in.”

A smile appeared on Raphael’s face. “You are so nice. Thank you.” Hailey felt a bit better after Raphael accepted her invitation.

They went upstairs together and returned to their respective apartments.

The next morning, Hailey went to the company and had a thorough discussion with two screenwriters about the script.

She had a good time when it came to something she was good at. Some changes were made to the script.

She had lunch with the screenwriters before their discussion continued in the afternoon. It was 5 PM when her phone reminded her of the appointment with Raphael.

Hailey had booked a table for her dinner with Raphael. To cater to his taste, her choice was a steak place. She was considerate sometimes.
