“I forgot my shoes.” Luis pouted while Christian buckled him up. “Don’t worry about your shoes.”

Christian felt bad for what he was about to do—but he was desperate to keep Serena and the baby safe,meant Serena not talking to him ever again.

He got into the driver’s seat and sped off. There were only four and a half hours left. If this new plan wouwould’ve all been for nothing. “Where are you taking me?” Luis asked after a while.
