Harrison bounded off the couch and onto his feet.

He wanted to speak, but he felt like something was stuck in his throat.

After he and his brother let go of their old grudges, he dove headfirst into company affairs and kept himself busy. The two families were

that she could help them out.

“You can use it however you wish, no pressure!”

Kai’s voice rang out from the other end of the line.

Tears brimmed in Harrison’s eyes.

Harrison did not bother trying to put on an act and readily accepted

They ended the call after exchanging pleasantries.

Smiles that had been long lost appeared on the managers’ and

Lauren’s faces as they listened to the conversation.

Meanwhile, Harrison noticed he had received a text message from his daughter when he sat back down.

After reading it, he stumbled and fell to the ground.

Shocked looks appeared on Lauren’s and the managers’ faces as the dashed forward to help Harrison to his feet.

Harrison’s entire body trembled as his face turned pale.

Tears appeared in Lauren’s eyes as she asked, “What’s the matter? Are you feeling unwell?”

Things had been so hectic recently.

Harrison hurriedly shook his head. His chest felt like a massive stone

was placed on top of it, and he could not form even a single sentence.

They were a massive chip manufacturing company with 2,000

employees.

That was more employees than the total number in Baroque’s

headquarters and branch offices.

Yet, Nash had acquired them?

“Harrison, what’s going on? Say something!”

Lauren, who was usually cool and collected, was so panicked she

was close to tears.

The general managers also gazed at Harrison worriedly.

Harrison heaved a sigh. He was still trying to piece everything

together. He had a wooden expression on his face as he picked u

his phone and handed it to Lauren.

When Lauren finished reading the text message Hera sent, her mouth fell wide open from shock.

The managers exchanged incredulous looks.
