The man in the suit asked the question in his deep and magnetic

voice.

Nash raised an eyebrow. “What’s this, an interrogation?”

The man in the suit gave a small smile. “No, I’m just curious. I’ve

heard Ms. Stone is 28 and still single. A man her age shouldn’t just be

a friend, right?”

“You’re overthinking it. We’re just friends, nothing more,” Nash said

coolly.

Just then, Sienna’s voice came from his hand. “Nash, are you still playing? It sounds like you have guests?”

Nash responded, “I’m done playing for now.”

Elsabeth’s eyelids fluttered in shock. “That voice just now, it sounded

so familiar… Was that the actress, Sjenna?”

The man in the suit chuckled lightly. “You’re overthinking it again. Sienna is from a prestigious family. She’s very refined. She wouldn’t

be caught yelling.”

With that, he gave Nash a look of disdain. It was as if he thought that

someone like Nash could not possibly be gaming with a star like

Sienna.

Elsabeth nodded. “Yeah, maybe it just sounded like her.”

Melody stepped out from the upstairs bedroom, her floral dress swaying gently. With a touch of makeup, her face seemed to be glowing. Her shiny black hair fell softly down her back.

She looked different from her usual self in a trench coat and jeans. At

this moment, it felt as if she was calm and gentle.

The man in the suit could not hide his surprise.

Even Nash paused for a few seconds.

He had never seen Melody all dressed up and with makeup before.

“Mel… you’re so pretty!”

Elsabeth got up from the couch, her eyes wide with a mix of envy and

jealousy.

Melody was older, but her beauty outshone Elsabeth’s by miles.

Melody descended the stairs with a smile, “Me, beautiful? I’m not as

young as I used to be, unlike you.”

“Oh, come on, you can’t really believe that!” Elsabeth shot back, ha joking, half-serious.

They hugged, and when they pulled apart, Elsabeth still looked a little

wistful. “You almost charmed me, and I’m a woman! I can’t imagine

any man who could match you.”

Melody’s laugh was light as she turned to the man in the suit. “Elsie,

is he your boyfriend?”

The man walked over, offering his hand with a polite nod. “I’m Austin, Elsabeth’s boyfriend. Nice to meet you!”

“Melody,” she replied, shaking his hand with a peaceful smile.

Her smile was like a ray of sunshine, making everything around her

bright.

Austin could not take his eyes off Melody’s lovely face. For a

moment, he was lost in her beauty.

Melody’s eyes flickered with annoyance as she pulled her hand back. She teased Elsabeth with a grin, “Remember how you said whoever got a boyfriend first would be in trouble? Well, it’s only been two months, and look at you now!”

“But I don’t want to stay single, and you can’t stop fate when it decides to show up. But hey, aren’t you going to introduce me to this cutie?” Elsabeth grabbed Melody’s hands and looked over at Nash, who was busy with his phone on the couch.

“I’m Nash. Didn’t I introduce myself earlier?” Nash replied coolly.

“I wasn’t talking to you…” Elsabeth huffed, shooting Nash a glare

before turning to Melody.

“Spill it, is he your boyfriend? He’s not exactly Mr. Polite. You’d better set him straight before it’s too late!”

“We’re just friends, nothing more!”

Melody gave Elsabeth an eye roll but could not help thinking about

Hera.

Nash always did whatever his wife wanted.

“It’s getting late. Let’s head to our favorite spot for dinner!”

They all stepped outside.

Austin suddenly pulled out his car keys and handed them to Nash with a half-hearted smile. “You can drive, right?”

“Austin, Nash is Melody’s friend. You shouldn’t make him drive,’ Elsabeth said with her hands on her hips, looking quite annoyed.
