Chapter 1187
My Substitute CEO Bride
Chapter 1187
Tina frowned slightly.
Her grandfather had always been a good-tempered person.
He treated her friends like his own grandchildren.
What was up with him today?
âTheyâre all liars! Make them go away!â
Tinaâs grandfather grabbed a stick by the wall and walked toward
them.
His steps were agile and mighty, nothing like a man his age.
Tina looked anxiously at Nash and said, âGrandpa wasnât like this
before. Is he being possessed too?â
Nash turned and told Melody, âUse your Lionâs Roar to make the evil
spirit leave his body!â
Melody shook her head and exclaimed, âNo way! Itâll ruin my image!â
Feeling speechless, Nash rolled his eyes at her and said, âThis is the
perfect time for you to use your skills! Donât let them go to waste!â
Seeing Tinaâs grandfather approaching, Melody knew she had no
choice. She gathered her energy and shouted, âGet out!!!â
Sonic waves emanated from her mouth.
However, Tinaâs grandfather only stopped briefly before continuing to
head toward them.

Nash sneered. âWhat was that? Thatâs all you got?â
Melody knew Nash was deliberately provoking her.
She sneered and shouted once more, âAhhâ¦â
This time, her scream was high-pitched, and the sonic waves lasted much longer. Her hair danced wildly.
Elsabeth and Austin covered their ears tightly, but they still felt as if
their brains were about to explode.
With a crack, the windows shattered
Suddenly, a figure flew out from Tinaâs grandfather.
Noticing it, Nash lunged forward, grabbed the figure, and pinned it
against the wall. His other hand was still stuffed in his pocket.
Every time is a time to act cool.
âPlease spare my life, Master Nash..â
The figure began to shrink and slowly started taking shape.
It finally took the form of a fat weasel.
âYou know me?â
Nash let go of his grip and threw it on the ground in disgust.
He even smelled his hands.
âEww!â
He regretted doing so.
He should not have smelled it.
âI met you eight years ago, Master Nash. Donât you remember? I was asking for your blessings.â
The weasel got up and waved his paws.
Nash conjured up the memory.
That was a long time ago. He was attending an exorcism ceremony
in the North.
In his memory, he was quite drunk at the time, and he bumped into a man when he was taking a pee. The man had asked him whether he looked like a human or a God.
Drunk beyond words, Nash obviously did not give a proper look. He just said, âI think you look like a big fat manâ¦â
The man was unmistakably pissed at his answer, but he knew better than to challenge Nash to a fight. The man knew that Nash was a Path master, so he knew he would not stand a chance.
As such, he hid and continued his training in hopes of defeating
in battle one day.
Nash smiled awkwardly and said, âSorry about that. I was still youn
and dumb at the time. I didnât know anything about giving blessings
and whatnot.â
Nash only heard about it from a few Northerners when he was older.
His master had also given him a lecture about it. He remembered his
master saying all mortals and immortals faced challenges in their

training. The Northernersâ way of training was orthodox. They were always ready to help others in need because they saw it as
accumulating good karma.
âMaster Nash, youâre even more powerful now⦠Itâs my honor to meet you again!â
The weasel fell to its knees and bowed repeatedly, treating Nash with
reverence.
Recalling that the weasel was wreaking havoc in the Snow family, Nash asked sternly, âWhat have you been up to here? Tinaâs grandfather is just an ordinary old man, no?â
The weasel trembled in fear as it replied, its voice quivering with fear, I-Iâm sorry⦠I wonât do it again! All wanted was to be a human, so
thatâs whyâ¦â
