Chapter 2390

My Substitute CEO Bride

The two of them arrived in the Southern Territory around noon. As soon as they reached the train station, Clint and his team sent a luxury car to pick them up. After getting into the car, they realized Clint himself was driving.

"What's this, Mr. Melton? Where's your driver?" Nash asked.

Clint replied, "I understood what you meant last night, so I decided to keep things low-key."

"Haha, Mr. Melton, you truly get me," Nash replied with a laugh.

In their conversation the previous night, Nash had mentioned to Clint that his

other purpose for coming to the Southern Territory was to spend time with Sienna.

He did not want Clint to make a big deal out of his arrival.

After checking on Ronan, Nash planned to explore the area with Sienna, preferring to avoid drawing too much attention.

If Clint made too big a fuss, they would not have the privacy they wanted, defeating the purpose of their visit. So, Clint opted to personally drive them.

Sienna was aware that Nash had important business to attend to, so she understood and decided to stay in the car for the time being.

Once Clint parked the car at the Melton family's estate, he and Nash entered the building while Sienna remained in the vehicle as previously planned.

Inside, the two men quickly made their way to Ronan's room. They opened the door to find Rylan inside, looking at Nash with eyes full of hope.

"Nash, you're here," Rylan said.

Nash nodded and immediately moved to Ronan's bedside. He checked Ronan's pulse and then pressed gently on his hand.

"Rylan, step outside for a bit. Clint and I are going to start the procedure soon. Keep an eye on the door, and make sure no one comes in."

Rylan nodded obediently and got up, heading out to stand guard.

"I understand. I'm counting on you both to take care of my brother."

"Don't worry," Clint reassured him.

Rylan closed the door behind him.

Nash found himself at a loss for words and instinctively glanced at Clint. Clint patted Nash on the shoulder, saying confidently, "If there's something on your mind, just say it. You had Rylan leave so that you could tell me about Ronan's condition, right?"

Nash nodded, then took a deep breath and said, "I heard your sister woke up a couple of days ago?"

Clint confirmed, "Yes, that's right."

Nash continued, "So, what exactly caused her to fall unconscious?"

Clint thought for a moment and then explained the events surrounding the great tree crisis.

"So, it was the combined effects of Delly's attack and the lotus mark that led to my sister's coma."

"And what happened afterward?" Nash was closing in on the crucial point. "How did your sister wake up?"

Clint began to understand what Nash was getting at. "It was... the surgery Ronan performed..."

Nash snapped his fingers.

"Exactly. That's the key."

Nash then drew a wisp of true energy from Ronan's fingertip.

"You've seen this before, haven't you? In the forbidden zone."

The answer was becoming clear. With a mix of resignation and cold certainty, Nash continued to speak.
