Chapter 2454
My Substitute CEO Bride
Zach was stunned.
"H-How is this possible? Just now... No, it can't be... Elder Wolf was definitely inside me... W-What's happening..."
Huntley explained, "It's simple. An immortal's power is, at its core, nothing more than the power of their spirit. The sword formed from my seven pearls can forcibly correct the spirit inside you. Do you understand now?
"Elder Wolf can no longer be of use to you. Unless you're confident enough to defeat me with just your true energy, I suggest you surrender now."
Huntley's words were domineering, but Zach knew that he was not just being arrogant. This man had the strength to back it up. The seven pearls in his hand alone were enough to counter most physical techniques.
Zach had no choice and said, "I surrender."
The entire arena fell silent, disbelief written on the faces of the East District Genii disciples. Huntley had spoken of a forceful correction of an immortal's spirit.
If such a thing were possible, none of the Genii disciples in the entire Northern Territory would be a match for this man. He was terrifying and mysterious.
Not unexpectedly, after Huntley revealed his power, almost all of the participants began to harbor some level of hostility toward him.
Huntley, of course, did not care. He calmly began walking toward the exit. Just then, a voice called out to him, "Hey, stop right there!"
Huntley turned to see who it was.
Devan suddenly leaped forward and threw a punch at Huntley, who immediately activated all his true energy to power the Emerald Pearls. The pearls instantly sent Devan flying.
Tilting his head coldly, Huntley asked, "The match is over. Can I leave now?" However, none of the judges seated in the audience dared to speak.
Understanding settled in Devan's mind. "Looks like the higher-ups are also wary of his power. In that case..." He gathered his strength again. "Let me end this!"
Devan unleashed another punch charged with celestial energy. Again, however, it was to no avail.
Huntley turned to face him, his gaze filled with killing intent as he locked eyes with Devan. Devan was startled but, strangely, he straightened his back and stood firm.
"You punk, cut the act! Let me tell you something, even if you kill me today, you won't be leaving this arena! The higher-ups already have their eye on you!"
Huntley scanned the surroundings. Sure enough, as Devan said, the crowd was watching him intently, their eyes filled with hostility.
Huntley laughed. "So, that's how it is!" Pointing at everyone present, he declared, "You! All of you!
"You're all afraid, aren't you? Let me tell you this-I'm a child of the Wallace family, and I've come to seek revenge! Unless you kill me right now, I'll overturn the martial arts world of the East District.
"Come on! Let's see who's so terrified of me and of my family's power! The Twigg and Wallace families that you all once swept aside have now become the deadly blades of vengeance! They've come for revenge!"
Huntley scattered the pearls onto the ground, each containing a wisp of a soul.
"The Wallaces' Soul Smithing is the most powerful and mysterious ability. It turns souls into physical artifacts. Watch, you'll all die by their hands!"
At that, seven massive souls slowly emerged from the scattered pearls.
"Soul Smithing-Ultimate! The fusion of matter and spirit!"
Each of the seven souls gradually took the shape of armor and transformed into seven powerful soul generals.
"Devan, I'll only say this once. If you want to die, I won't stop you. You won't be able to harm them with your power at all. Come! If you're a man, then fight!"
Devan had never encountered such a situation before, and his body was trembling uncontrollably.
"W-What kind of monsters are these?!"
"Stop!"
At that moment, the head judge of the arena jumped out.
